Ok /a/, it;s the time to decide the masterpiece, the best of the best, the top tier quality show you believe it's the best a animation studio could offer to the media.
I will start with an easy one.
> Gankutsuou from Gonzo Studios
We'll never see something like this from them. Technically it was outstanding for the year it was made. The adaptation was quite good and enjoyable.
Are we talking about which works we consider to be a studio's best work or are we just going for general "masterpieces"?
Because if it's the latter then this sounds more like
a thinly-veiled rec thread.
> Shin Sekai Iori - A1 pictures
I believe this is one of the best works from A1 pictures. The adaptation is pretty good because when I tried to read the manga, it really bored me. The animation changed that and the art style is great in comparison to other works from A1 (comparable to those background from the 1st episode from SAO and when Kirito and Asuna meets the guy who created the mmo game).
Damn i was going to post FLCL from Gainax, but seems Production IG was involved too. What the fuck should i do in this situation?
at least post why that show is the masterpiece from those studios you pleb
>that show looks boring and crappy as fuck
So what you're saying is you've never seen it? Exodus looks fantastic.
Spice and Wolf - Imagin
It's the studio masterpiece because the rest they did was below average or was a collaboration.
The truth is, this show was a good adaptation from the novels.
Little Witch Academia from Trigger
The rest from its shows are low budget stuff.
