Baka Mplayer desu

Any video player does the job nowadays anon.

mpv is the meme player of 4chan.

I have been using the same media player classic with k-lite codec pack that I downloaded over a decade ago.
>>
mpv for lightweight
>>
>>139855352

Really? I remember when Railgun S came out, the only player I tried that could render the fancy animations and vectors in the OP was MPC-HC.
>>
>>139854739
>What's the best video player to watch anime?
Your TV.
>>
>>139855352
>Best with subtitles: VLC (barely)
VLC fucks up when there is too much animation, like karaoke with fancy effects, or moving multicoloured subtitles.
>>
>>139854965
Anyway to change the aspect ratio. The only reason why I'm not using it now.
>>
>>139854739

Used mpv when I was using a shitbox laptop, when I changed computers went back to MPC-HC but kept a lot of the controls of MPV.

I use Kodi, it's more TV friendly than mpc.

I hate fancy moving typesetting. Something as mundane as subtitles shouldn't draw attention to themselves.

Ah well, at least she's just a silkworm instead of that one moth that gouges at the eyes of deer and drinks the tears. Or the one that has a short, stout proboscis that it uses to pierce animal skins and lap at the blood (it has no use for the nutrients in blood, by the way, only the salt - it filters out the electrolytes and poops out perfectly intact blood cells). Or the one that sneaks into the egg-cases of spiders and eats the spiderlings. Or the one that lives in a case made out of the disembodied body parts of its former victims, tethered together with silk.

Or that one hawkmoth with genitalia that double as stridulatory organs. Imagine waking up at 4AM to loud squelching noises and having to listen to them until morning because your neighbor is some disheveled shut-in of a moth girl who enjoys masturbating in the middle of the night and doesn't seem to realize that her vagina amplifies sound to such an extent that you can hear every movement of her fingers from a block away.

Moths are horrifying.

Depends I mean VLC is going to play pretty much anything off the bat but I prefer MPC for one reason

I like to sharpen the image slightly VLC doesn't let me sharpen most anime MKVs while MPC lets me sharpen anything

Really though what does it matter as long as it's doing the job?
>>
>>139856625
Yes, SMplayer is universal front-end for mplayer, mplayer2 and mpv.
