He sees 10 seconds into the future with Epitaph, which shows him the fated future. King Crimson allows him to position himself somewhere different since the time it deletes also deleted whatever was fated to happen to him during that time. For example, he sees himself getting buttraped thanks to Epitaph. He activates King Crimson, causing the world to go red and him to see the next 10 seconds displayed before him. He has those next 10 seconds where everyone else's actions happen at the same time to position himself however he wants. He doesn't stop time or anything, King Crimson gives him the ability to see his fate and change it by deleting time and his own fate, but keeping everyone else's fate. As such, in the deleted time they will keep trying to buttrape where Diavolo was since it was their fate to do so, allowing Diavolo complete freedom to manoeuvre and position himself. Once he's settled, the 10 seconds of the future KC displayed while Diavolo moved are deleted, causing for everyone but Diavolo an instantaneous jump to the last second that Epitaph predicted but with Diavolo in a different place because while his fate was deleted, other's had to continue on what they were doing and also have the disorientation of the jump from 1 second to 10 seconds.

It's difficult to explain but once it clicks it's actually isn't that complicated, it's complex for a JoJo ability but in terms of other anime and manga it's not too hard to grasp.

Budget is inevitable. But hopefully they put the budget in the right places, since the most talked about disappointment last time was DIO's World.

Two-episode fights was more for separation. Most of those fights were too long for one episode, and having an arc end mid-episode could be strange. A lot of times though there was a lot of down time and exposition so they weren't really fighting for two episodes. Pet Shop comes to mind.

There were quite a few one-episode fights towards the beginning. And I assume that'll be the same.

They've still adapted the JoJo style very well, and I'm glad for that even with other flaws. They'd have to actively try to do bad to ruin Part 4's style.
