Naruto and Hinata are probably easily the most disgustingly sweet couple of he lot we see, and them having a baby could have gotten the other women to think about kids to begin with.

One think I liked about Bleach (since some people are already talking about it) was that they had these individual endings in the final arc of all the main characters with their best and worst moments.
