I didn't even get past 2 episodes into the second season.

I would say the second cour of White Album. Not really that it ruined the first cour because there wasn't much there to ruin. It just made something bad so much worse.

Fuck Touya. Seriously. That guy is such a piece of shit. The more episodes happened the more I loathed that sleazy, two-timing, pants wetting crybaby.

I don't know where you would get that thought. The movie is entirely original and the second season adds far more original content than the first. The second season was more or less Yamada's playground.
