The World only needs one 「truth!」 edit.
>Implying it's a meme.
Tell me what's so great about Gappy's personality that makes him better than any other JoJo.
I like him best when he says or does something innocent in Yasuho's presence. It makes it all the more satisfying when he turns into a cold motherfucker in fights.
I can't tell if you believe this or if you're only trying to get the thread started. He's a calm and cool-headed character like Jotaro but unlike Jotaro he is often put outside of his comfort zone and it's fun seeing him try to cope with all the nutjobs around him. He also gets really cute whenever he's together with or thinking about Yasuho.
He isn't as funny as he is weird, and his weirdness is amusing, but outside of that he isn't a very interesting character.
Like that whole Chicken and Large fries song, if it wasn't for his romantic interest he'd be worse than Giorno.
Weird I guess. He's not Araki's best character but I don't see why people hate him so much lately. He's as determined and as clever as any other JoJo, he seems clueless and airheaded unless it's when he's fighting something. He seems like the most human JoJo. He seems more realistic and just like a normal guy in an abnormal circumstance who just happens to know how to fight. Is that sufficient enough?
I honestly can't say anything about him that makes him better than other JoJo's because that's subjective. He's just likeable I guess. His design is cool, he's clever and his stand is pretty sweet.
Cromartie is the only English dub I know that regularly uses the word "Faggot", it's one of the few /a/ approved dubs.
Watch the series first, and once you catch up start reading the manga.
Soft & Wet > Gold Experience Requiem > Crazy Diamond > Star Platinum > Stone Free
Not the best execution, but
>Yukako as Maeda's mom
>Yukako as Noboru
Best overall Stand design?
On another note, why is Yasuho virtually absent in EoH?
The pillar men did nothing wrong and deserved a better fate.
Santana's entire existence bothers me.
>He's a Pillerman but needs to absorb food after awaking to regain sentence
>Acts completely different than the other three
>Is still alive
>No one knows what his real name is
>Hundreds of miles away from the other Pillermen
>At any time, if the government has a power failure and the UV lights go off, he's free
Is it possible to still buy these ?
Gappy´s version too.
They're around 30$ on Amazon, I'm planning on buying a pair myself once I get swole enough, otherwise it'll just be bad.
Santana's the useless baby of the Pillar Men. He didn't even have a mode. If he gets out the Speedwagon Foundation can contact Okuyasu and get him to erase Santana from existence.
She could also be a relevant NPC in the story mode, like Emporio or the elder D'Arby.
I don't think many people want to acknowledge that.
>I don't think many people want to acknowledge that.
I still don't understand what everyone is complaining about. Change isn't inherently bad, the new cast is of even higher profile than the one in the games, and the anime so far has had much better acting than the games.
David's done worse changes, like the artstyle in parts 1 and 2, or "changing" Jotaro's color scheme instead of using his most well known one.
>He seems like the most human JoJo. He seems more realistic and just like a normal guy in an abnormal circumstance who just happens to know how to fight.
I don't know how on earth you see Gappy, the living Chimera that enjoys pressurizing his body with weight as some "Normal dude", but I personally like Gappy because he's the most mysterious JoJo and has great potential.
Johnny > Jolyne > Joseph > Jonathan > Josuke > Gappy > Giorno
Romi Paku and Hiroshi Kamiya are of a god-tier profile even compared to Kaji or Sakurai, which annoys a lot of people, but I think everyone is angriest over Hatano being replaced by Ono. I suppose it can't be helped though, if he's voicing a major character in another series.
contaminated acts completed at a cost next to nothing
Was JoJolion Kira evil? Making someone eat his fingers doesn't seem like a good thing to do. I know he was friends with Josefumi and Karera and they were fighting Rock Humans, but he seems pretty evil to me. And then there's the fact that Karera is eerily similar to Kars in spelling which makes me question that whole thing.
Who should actually do part 4's opening?
Insidious Intentions Initiated Inexpensively
Atrocious acts at an affordable amount
Mighty Mayhem Made More Affordable
Poor performances performed at a profitable price
Disastrous Displays at a Devilish Discount
Shoddy Services Started on Sale
I interpret Gappy a little differently.
Gappy seems to me to be the Innocent jojo. Unlike Jonathon who is the 2pure hero of justice, Gappy is simply ignorant and unknowing. If he is overly violent, or does something wrong, it doesnt really register with him.
He is a bit childlike, and I think that pairs well with his amnesia.
Gappy is only at home when he is fighting. Its like he has a natural instinct for it, which gives a hint of what his former halves were like.
Otherwise Gappy is confused, ignorant, and simple.
Perhaps naming him after a dog was no mistake, because he kinda behaves like a dog. Living in the moment, going with the flow, and staring at the world with a child like innocence.
>I suppose it can't be helped though, if he's voicing a major character in another series.
It doesn't work like this. Besides Hatano is much lower profile than Ono.
Saying that Sakurai is lower than Paku and Kamiya is straight up lying. The three of them are on a category of their own, and I'd say Sakurai is a bit higher than Kamiya with how many important roles he's had, Kamiya is getting bigger in recent anime, Sakurai has been bigger since earlier.
Anyways, those three are just as good, Kaji is a lower, but Hatano is much lower compared to Ono, not having done an important lead yet.
Both casts are great, don't get me wrong, I thought the ASB cast was perfect, but the thing is the new one is really good too. And there's no point in complaining, all you are doing is spoiling the fun in this adaptation for yourself.
If we can't agree on the ending song, it'd be nigh impossible for us to agree on a singer for the OP.
He did have some aspects of Kira, but until we see some of Josefumi's character we won't know how much of his behavior is influenced by him.
Gappy gets his focus, ruthlessness and aim from Kira. He even measures things like Kira did, although that dialogue seems to have dropped pretty quickly. It's reasonable to assume that this Kira was actually a pretty skilled fighter, given Gappy's fighting style.
I see him as normal more because how he's responding to his situation I guess. He seems like the only JoJo other than Johnny that has the "what the fuck is going on holy shit I'm scared" mindset. Jonathan and Joeseph just said fuck it, vampires attempting to take over the world FUGGET ABOOOOUT IT I CAN HANDLE THIS and Jotaro is afraid of nothing at all, Giorno wasn't either, and Josuke never seemed really afraid either except after he fought Okayasu's brother, and he was only afraid to move on because he was nearly fucking dead.
He thought Kanera was giving someone a blowjob, he isn't that Innocent and unknowing, I have a feeling Jo2suke knows quite a bit of basic knowlage but nothing about himself, he's not ignorant, or confused, he's levelheaded and has a clear understanding of many things.
He just doesn't know anything about himself, or the culture in the area.
>He seems like the only JoJo other than Johnny that has the "what the fuck is going on holy shit I'm scared" mindset.
Can you post a panel that shows Gappy in his "Holy shit I'm scared" mindset during a fight? I don't think I remember him ever not being rational and level headed in a fight unless he takes damage.
Jonathan practically shit himself in every fight with DIO except the first two, and the boat fight. There were remarks on how he was full of fear, DIO taunted him saying he was afraid a couple of times. On the other hand Joseph ran away with his tail under his legs against Kars, and Straights. He was fully terrified of Ultimate Kars.
Johnny is still best boy though, you got that right.
I posted in >>133854628 that he seems more clueless and airheaded unless he isn't fighting. When he's fighting he seems fully confident in his abilities. I probably worded it wrong though, maybe he seems more confused than the other JoJo's? There's something about his character that just distinguishes him and makes him seem more human I guess, maybe it's just me.
As far as I remember firey eyes are a SBRverse thing, Johnny's are hard to miss but I remember Gappy having them in one panel. There's also firey eyes on Jonathan on the PB OP, but I can't say if Joylene ever had them
>tfw no precocious street urchin gf with vast oil wealth
Everything about him is going to be censored.
The hands, the explosions, the shower scene, probably even the Boner Lisa rant.
They may as well just replace Kira with a giant black blob.
So, I have part 6, 7 and 8 left to read.
I also wanted to watch some of the anime adaptions but should I even bother? Which one should I watch?
At the very least watch the Part 2 adaption. It makes the whole thing much more enjoyable.
Part 1's adaption is also good, though not quite as amazing as 2 in my opinion.
Part 3 is pretty much just copied panel-to-panel, don't bother if you've already read it.
Personally I can't wait for Kira, the amazing black blob.
Why is Joshu so garbage?
>The way he acts
The fact that CC2 chose him to be Josuke's partner is insane.
Even the fucking dog would better than him.
I couldn't find a shot of the pilot..
Not the anon who's asking but I looked through that part and there's no fire eyes, this is the closest shot of her eyes we get
I just finished SBR, one of the best JOJOs etc, but I just can't get that one thing
Why do even people like Johnny so much? His bromance with Gyro was great, but Gyro felt more like a protagonist, even thought everybody knew he would kick the bucket. Hell, it really was parabolic to Jonathan-Ceasar part, except with Caesar being JOJO
At final chapters I didn't really know whenever I should cheer protagonist or antagonist.
tho the fact that it was no longer best raptile boy, but just your regular mudamuda warudo dio stopped my hype a bit
Not that I dislike Johnny, but I think that maybe I missed something about him
the cutest stand
for the cutest brojo
Hato and Joubin are in the stage here.
This brings up a thought
What does Gappy and Joshuu have to do with the story? I can understand Johnny, gyro, and Valentine: The corpse. I also understand every other character besides some minor villains.
But not those two. They have no affiliation with the corpse in their universe.
Joshuu is a Joestar so he needs to be in the game, and Joshuu is the obligatory brojo.
They probably have little to nothing to do with the game, just like every other JoJo except Johnny and maybe Jonathan.
I don't believe the "Supervision" shit, he probably just signs some papers then fucks off
We know what he does on hiatuses
It must be Daiya.
I didn't see Tsurugi's model but he has voiced lines in this stage and Yagiyama is obviously the stage hazard. It's pretty jam-packed with characters.
Josuke is going to steal the corpse from Heaven DIO.
The other Josuke with the corpse parts is going to resurrect Jesus within himself.
Gyro and Johnny are both protagonists, but Gyro only really takes the spotlight in the beginning, towards the end its clearly Johnny's tale, specially seeing as his stand quite literally evolves with him.
For me I like Johnny cause he's a pretty badass motherfucker but he's not some justice goody hero, he's just some poor bastard at the lowest point of his life who's willing to do anything for a shot at redemption. I think the fire eye moments really sell him and highlight some of the differences between him and Gyro. I still love Gyro and would have a hard time choosing a favorite between the two, but Gyro works well because he is the best Brojo for the best Jojo, but he couldn't be the Jojo himself IMO.
This redeems the anime
>Splitting Dio Brando and DIO into seperate characters
Understandable, since they have considerable differences in powers in personality
>Splitting Kira and Kosaku
Questionable since the only difference between them is that Kosaku has Bites The Dust and Stray Cat, and his reluctance to use Sheer Heart Attack
>splitting pucci_before and pucci_after
What the fuck? Are we gonna have Fat Valentine and Old Valentine too?
Is it safe to assume that Johnny is going to be as important as Jonathan and Jotaro in this? Have my dreams come true? Will he actually be notable?
We know Valentine will, seeing as how he attacked DIO. Damn this plot intrigues me, I hope Valentine helps the heroes.
Isn't it obvious?
Kosaku and Kira were split in ASB.
The Puccis are seperate because nobody would bother to stay as the first form and would hide in the corner of the map and say the words right off the bat.
>Kosaku and Kira were split in ASB.
They were split so that they could use one of them as first edition bonus DLC. It's even more pointless now that they're both on the starting roster.
The Puccis have different stands so that one makes sense to me.
This has to be bait.
It isn't really pointless, as both fought in a completely different way. It'd be really awkward to see Kosaku using SHA or Kira using Stray Cat too.
Two Puccis make much more sense though.
I think that they could do two Johnnys.
Can you really blame her?
Is Thus spoke Kishibe Rohan canon?
It's a jojo thread, what do you expect?
Not the best type. Pic related, The Triceratops, was the best dinosaur around.
Pic related is best dinosaur actually.
If you could pick the voice actor for a single character in the English dub, who would you pick?
I think Brandon Potter would be perfect for Josuke.
usually emphasis, engrish or both
going to hope this wad of dickcheese becomes relevant. taking up valuable character space like that. what a joke
that I can understand, for me best Johnny moment was the one with Valentine proposition of bringing Gyro back - boy was awesome then
But in that last run both, Johnny and Dio were just fighting for their own reasons, both badass, both with tons of resolve, and in the end I really cheered for Dio to win, not because I liked him so much better
no raptile masterrace no funbut it seemed like a nice twist to have Jojo lose once (not die, as a build up for the next part) And, well Araki delivered, kinda
Author made him main character, and focused on him, but for me personally that lack of tiny bit of idealism, or some foolish foolishnes, or the fact that he isn't fighting for anything more*, doesn't really make him different from the rest competitors of steel ball run. That made Gyro different from others. I get that Araki was going for that dollars trilogy theme, where no one is an angel, but Johnny ain't no Blondie.
* But I must admit, that ending with the kid Gyro wanted to protect was one of the greatest things in all the JOJO. And it was great sum up for that part,
Johnny was ok, not the best
Litterally in the first chapter.
Can anyone recommend some series with villains similar to that of jojo. I just watched the majority of Jessica Jones and I loved that the villain reminded me of Kira in terms of ability and motive.
>TL:DR recommend series with autistic villains with self-serving motives
All Dios know that DIO is best Dio out of all Dios and DIO is Dio's favorite Dio.
>Is Diego best husbando?
No, Diego is best Husbrando.
BD changes where discussed when the BD released and now no one cares, it still just cuts off before he this anyone and then cuts back in with blood on the car, they just didn't animate him actually running people over and I doubt they'd go through the trouble of doing so for the BD, its not like they'd animated and blackened it
Absolutly shit husbando, but still best of all Dios
Stand: Blue sky
User: Walter White
Ability:A stand that produces the purest drug in the world if the proper ingredients/technique are used. Anyone that consumes it's drugs become extremely addicted and a slave to it's substance.
I think the old Capcom fighter was originally supposed to be for the first three parts. They had concept art for the Pillar Men, Stroheim, and Dooby the snakeman from Phantom Blood, plus N'Dour halfway programmed as a playable character.
N'Doul. Who the fuck greenlit that? There are way more interesting stand users in Part 3 to use, if they wanted that many Part 3 reps. Even Steely Dan would've been interesting, considering the tag team element to EOH (Lovers could be inside one of his opponents, and if the other attacks him they're hurting their partner).
What, did he put gay vibes into his bubble or something?
>no matter how many women I please, I just can't wipe off this gay!
>hasn't read Purple Haze Feedback
>tfw there is more than one doujin of this idea
My point exactly. They're not straight just because they're married. They're straight if they seem to have an interest in girls and not in dudes.
Jonathan - Straight
Joseph - Straight, but there was totally a bromance going on
Jotaro - Doesn't really show much either way but I don't think he's gay. Might be those delinquent genes at work until he got older. Otherwise he's asexual and just wanted a kid.
Josuke - Straight, but he shops like a fag.
GioGio - Doesn't show much either. Can't really say. Jolyne - Pansexual. Probably wants to fuck her stand.
Johnny - Straight, also had a bromance going on but I think he cared slightly more about girls than Part 3 Jotaro.
Jo2uke - Soft & Wet
It wasn't intentional. The gay vibes are infused in his hamon.
>bromance is gay
>Everyone except Giorno (doesn't show interest in either) and Jolyne (jealous of snails) are shown as strictly straight
That's precisely what my post said.
>you now are thinking of someone climbing on top of superfly to stimulate their anus
That isn't how you reference material to prove an argument.
It's never explicitly stated that anyone is "strictly straight" but it does explicitly state that Joseph is engaged to two men and that he loved Caesar. Maybe not in a homo lust way but you can't prove it either way
He has that classic tsundere "It's not like I was worried about you" moment when he sees Joseph again too. This is one of the rare cases where I can totally see where the fujos are coming from.
Nope, I asked someone about this a while ago and they said the specific kanji used means "infatuation". Not "love" or "lust", but joking or not Messina literally was saying in the Japanese version that Caesar had a crush on Joseph.
Yeah, his heat manipulation was a sub power.
This pic mentions it has another hidden power to it.
Calling it now.
Speed King's power is actually acceleration. It speeds up objects that it touches. The friction from the sped up atoms are what causes the heat.
Jobin is final boss material.
>you don't have a JUST-tier haircut
w-what are you talking about?
allowing girls to get between the bromance
I'm pretty sure he's planning things out to some degree, surely. He foreshadowed D4C pretty early on on SBR, and he surely won't forget flashback dude.
If not god help us all, its anyone's guess how it'll turn out
By Araki standards, pretty well planned out. Araki is the kind of writer who improves by iterating, and it looks like Jojolion's main "improvement" is a willingness to plot more tightly.
Slightly related: I wonder how much of JJBA as a whole is just shit made up on the spot and how much of it is planned.
I suppose he has a general outline for all the story but otherwise Araki just does what he wants. It must be hard to write a story like that (which is why there's so many "wait, that's not right" moments).
JoJolion feels like it's the one that might be the most planned out.
Three months after release (possibly two), as free DLC.
google image search leads straight to Steel Ball Run, that makes me glad
