Tell me now. Those from 02, they're basically confirmed dead? Naturally they retconned it within the first 5 minutes and honestly i don't blame them, i just don't want to see them 'brought back' or have a silly plot twist where they were 'knocked out'.

This OVA series (?) is meant to be for the fans of the oriignal series and have more maturity/darker themes associated with it, so i don't see why they aren't confirmed dead from that one episode. Would have been nice to see it mentioned by the main cast at some point though. I mean, we did just watch 4 episodes without having any mention of that beginning scene of 'their deaths'.
