I'm speaking of the actual fandom that loved Adventure back in the day as kids. That is where the real majority of the audience is. This community sure does not represent what the actual audience interested in new Digimon stuff is. Its like forcing any new Dragon Ball dub to call him Son Goku all the time. Taichi should be called Tai.

Weebish is the nicer way of putting it. That's how subs typically work, not dubbing. The more you insist on watching the Japanese version and ignoring the long history of the show, the more weebish it is.

Sub music was just that much better as well, it legitimately felt like I was watching a different show.

The show would have fixed most of its problems if it didn't start treading water after defeating Cherubimon. The plot was pretty airtihgt up until that moment, and then it took a while to get to the final boss fight.

The entire time each episode was pretty much the same: Koji and Takua get everybody else's spirits and proceed to do nothing of value with them. The rest of those episodes could have at least been spent going over everybody else's combined spirit forms, instead we got like a 10 episode losing streak.

That's the real disappointment for Frontier, the rest of the team gets cheerleader status.

This anon knows whats up. Digimon is only good dubbed. Jap Adventure is horrible but in the dub is great. The jokes they added are what makes it, the original is boring and the music in the dub is good too (Not muh jpop). Also names are easier to say and more realistic and they made it more like what it is, a kids show. Jap version is boring as fuck but dub is high energy and full of fun and goodness, way better.
