I love the anime/manga as a concept
because the romantic dynamics are GOATbut I can't deny that it's horribly flawed. If I look at it honestly, it's a mangled mess. I'll try to tone down on the spoilers but. >The first season/arc introduces THREE villains and wants to make all three of them equally intimidating, failing horribly in the process. Either Medusa or Weekend should've been cut out.
>All the filler. And I don't mean anime-only filler (it doesn't exist), but the fact that half the manga is filler. It's always the same thing, something interesting or relevant to the plot comes up, only to be burried under something that doesn't matter at all. Last chapter we had something interesting about Medusa still being active behind the screens but NOPE, we need a beach chapter out of literally fucking nowhere with no bearing on the plot that could easily be cut out without missing anything
>The fight between 3B6 and Kazane was off-screen. Two of the most powerful characters in the series duking it out OFF-SCREEN. Who the hell thought that was a good idea? It made 3B6 look like a chump. Later Mizunagi-sensei explained that it's because their fight was a battle of attrition, but she only explained that on her blog rather than in-story.
>The relationship between Ayaka and Honoka progresses so painfully slowly that until Ayaka's yandere reveal, people legitimately questioned whether she felt anything for him or not
I don't mind
Ayaka's stone-faced indifferencebecause I know that it will only make her even more beautiful when she finally smiles. We've already seen her getting really pissed the fuck offso soon my brothers, soon!
