Holy fuck what an episode, A nice mix of comedy and drama with a cute girl, I thought the show would be DOGSHIT with the opening of "I love oyu but I've never met you" or whatever it was I don't know why they needed to add that but god damn that first episode nearly had me in tears.

Very nicely done, Could easily be AOTS if done nicely.

Also I have a feeling the ending will be about Isla expiring and the MC arguing whether to send her to the coffin shop or not.

Meh, I don't really like how they saved all the budget for that those farewell scenes while the rest looked kind of cheap overall.

I'm really not too hyped, the potential is all there but the comedy parts were kind of weak and they could ruin everything if they decide to go for cheap feels.

I have this feeling that it goes way deeper than what we already know. They'll surely adress this later on, it's an obvious question to ask.
In turn, I wonder what happens if you outright refuse to give the Giftia back. Owners are legally bound to return them because they signed the paper, right? Alright somebody who knows a lot about data management might be able to tell me this, because I have no idea. I am aware that data deteriorates over time, but if you copy that data and move it, does that copy the data in its state of decay? Or does it renew the condition of the data on new memory?

Forgive my complete and utter retardation on thr subject, but I never really gave this any thought. Because you would think it would be as simple as downloading the mind of the Giftia and putting it in a new body. Or if it is the data decaying, you could copy it and put it in a new hard drive.
