>He's only seen Fate/Zero
>He's only seen the Evangelion Rebuilds
He has only seen the Berseker adaptations
>He can't see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Source material adherents are rightful to be indignant about people who want to get into whatever big franchise or thing without ever experiencing the source material most of the time. Very rarely are there any comprehensive works of the source material that are faithfully adapted in other mediums.
Try to go to /lit/ and discuss Tolkien works and its mythos when you've only seen the movies. It's the same shit when it comes to something like FSN and Evagelion, IMO.
Is the UBW movie underrated? I never see people talk about it. I thought it looked really good animation wise and Shirou going full "do the impossible" with his fight against Archer was fucking badass. I'm preferring the UBW movie over the 2014 anime so far to be honest.
No, I'm not a secondary.
First of all
Second of all
>Comparing Tolkien to Type-Moon
>I thought it looked really good animation wise
>Shirou going full "do the impossible" with his fight against Archer was fucking badass
It completely missed the point of the fight and made it look like Shirou simply overpowered Archer.
>it's not a harem set-up
>there are three women that are potential love interests and want your cock in varying degrees
Come on, man. Saying it's not a harem is like saying Love Hina was not a harem in its first 7 volumes.
You don't get to choose who you romance, you are locked into each route.
FSN isn't like some VNs, where you've got a common route which introduces the girls, and then you fuck one of them. The story plays out in three parts, and the choices between the three routes generally aren't caused by just interacting with who you want to screw. Maybe HF, but definitely not Fate or UBW.
Who cares, the FS/N vn is a bunch of needlessly wordy chuunishit.
Looks fucking good.
>He's only seen Fate/Zero
My experience with Fate/Zero included Saber disputing morality with kings across time while in the employ of a psychologically damaged hitman.
My experience with Fate/Stay Night included Saber running around in a schoolgirl's outfit with some high school git while he tried to comprehend the illogical behavior of his tsundere.
You must forgive my wariness in delving deeper into the F/SN side of things.
A harem would imply that he has multiple viable love interests at any one time, with the number of girls exceeding two. Its a straight romance in all three routes. Each route just features a different love interest.
Is that why they do this a lot in scenes with lots of effects going on? I've seen it a lot and always wondered what the fuck was up with that.
It's fucking annoying. I have epilepsy myself, and this shit couldn't give me a seizure if I turned my gamma up, drank a bottle of jack and didn't sleep well the night before watching it.
