The manga is already more than half complete story-wise right? We all know its going to be some mega disappointing 'one shot the god hand and strip Griffith of his powers for a final dual'.
In my mind, a true friend never relies on another's dream. The man who would be my friend must have his own reason for living beyond me. And he should put his heart and soul into protecting his dream. He should never hesitate to defend it. Even against me. A friend of mine would be my equal. In every respect.
>yfw the elves are the lady in the lake
>yfw dragon slayer becomes excalibur
>yfw he won't continue berserk until more threads pop up giving him ideas
>yfw skeleton knight is
the green knight
Who says he will defeat them? Who says he'll even fight them, assuming the series ends at some point?
He'll fight Femto with Zodd and Skull Knight and all his friends. Guts and Casca will be the only ones that survive, and he'll be done. It'll be all he can do, and probably all that he'd want to do.
Poor bastard deserves to be able to just stop fighting and be happy with the woman he loves. He's been through too much shit already
Guts will use the behelit and use himself as the sacrifice, but since he's already marked it'll make the manga blue screen
Guts is reborn inside the abyss and becomes the "Idea of Evil"/God; his will becomes the will of mankind.
He summons his spooky skellingtons to tear apart the mythical beasts and drag the apostles and Godhand to the abyss and strips them of they're power.
The land and abyss slowly become cleansed as each spirit is reincarnated in a world that has reached a renaissance era.
He too is reincarnated with Casca and Griffith.
He would need to have the crimson behelit and the Giant heart in the abyss would have to choose him and manipulate causality by fucking with peoples minds which takes ~500-1000 years
Since it can only manipulate causality it doesn't have full control, so there is still the possibility to where my post >>120681058
could actually happen along those lines
>>Implying Berserk won't end like Dracula
>>Implying guts won't have to have a final fight against Himself (the black dog) to win back his humanity from the zerker armor
>>Implying guts will kill griffith with special powers
Only a human can defeat a monster.
I'm assuming with his sword.
For every apostle and creature he slains, his sword has been absorbing their blood, apparently making his inner beast powerful as well.
I'm sure he's going to use their blood against them.
Honestly, Miura is going to die at this rate if he doesn't continue Berserk.
Because MIURA WILL NEVER GET AROUND TO FUCKING FINISHING HIS OWN MANGA
The elf king will restore Casca's memory and will still love Griffith. Guts will kill Casca in blind rage, and then kill himself.
Every time Guts kills an apostle with his sword, it gives the sword more power against apostles. It levels up his swords effectiveness against apostles. The more apostles he kills with the blade, the more of a chance he has against the God Hand.
The point is though that he will lose. The manga has outright said this plenty of times. Skully and Guts will lose but Guts will win the favor of the idea of evil and that will at least let him reset the world.
What's the deal with Berserk's art? Has Miura been doing all of it by himself? His old pace seems impossible for one man but everything is so consistent, distinct and detailed. Does he have assistants working with him?
I think he's going to be unable to help Casca with elf magic, then he'll get an offer to sacrifice her with the behelit for the strength to take revenge. Only Guts won't do that because he's guts, instead he'll go full Skullymode, eat the behelit and the Berserker armour and then take on the God Hand purely through human willpower and endurance.
>He's going to be unable to help Casca with elf magic
If this happens, I will drop Berserk so hard that it hits the core of the fucking planet. This seven years (and counting) boat ride absolutely cannot have been for nothing
Not really. I mean, jesus, we've been without a speaking Casca for so long even not taking that into consideration that it's about time she becomes a character again, one way or the other.
I mean, it's not like Guts hasn't faced obstacles on his way there either. Sure, magic just wiping all the problems away seems kind of a lame conclusion, but it was magic that put her in that state to begin with, in a way
Well Femto is sort of turning his home country into Hell on Earth. I doubt he can just ignore that. Not to mention that Griffith has a lot to answer for in terms of Guts and Casca in particular
>Well Femto is sort of turning his home country into Hell on Earth.
>mankind has never known such a golden age
>hell on earth
As long as the apostles keep battling in the arena. All is well.
With Rickert's help of course.
Here's the fixed version, no need to thank me
Name one human conflict that is worse than being raped and eaten by trolls.
> it was magic that put her in that state to begin with, in a way
No, it was rape. not just regular rape. Not even tentacle rape, but super rape. Super former friend, and personal idol rape. Super all-your-friends-are-dead rape.
I think it was better when it was human guts facing off against all these horrible monsters and winning, it makes sense that it couldn't last forever without some kind of shonen powerup, but it's still a bit disappointing that it had to happen
Possible endings imho:
>Guts stops giving a fuck, lives with Caska, world is dominated by Phemto, THE END
>Guts goes full Berserk again after Caska dies, gets killed by Phemto, THE END
>Asspull coming from Skull Knight, he can kill the God Hand with the Bejelit sword, Guts helps THE END
He won't. He will beat one or two of the generals, then Griffith and die in the process.
I think it was alluded at some point that Guts might not be the only sacrifice survivor, similar to Skeleton Knight. So the other God Hands have people coming after them aswell. Which is what this manga might be heading towards soon.
I lost interest in it after the second eclipse when they just started making magic so common to the point of it becoming mundane.
I frankly liked Berserk best when it was about the Band of the Hawk.
I agree. There is too much humour in Berserk nowadays.
>Isidro and Puck
>Schierke and Isma
It's probably the reason why I prefer Griffith's chapters. They are usually more serious.
My guess? He's gain the power to oppose them from the will of all the people in Falconia.
The only way to stop the Godhand or the IoE itself is for all/or most of humanity to want them to be deposed.
Yeah I was about to say that - all of the god hands and some of things that are not god hands seem able to manipulate time and space, time travelling to say before any of the god hands god handed and say trying to form an immense kingdom that conquers the world so he can find the god hands before they ascend to god handedness would be an obvious resolution to the tale.
And by resolution, I mean
he'd become the skeleton knight and cause a time loop that'd forever lock him into his suffering as befits a sacrifice
>god hands seem able to manipulate time and space
They can't. They simply exist in all the timelines at the same time and can impose their presence in previous timelines, but they can't time travel at will.
It's like saying they're always presently conscious of what they're doing in every single moment, and can impose their existence even in times when they shouldn't have existed. But they are still limited by what they have done at that time.
It's just speculation then. The only instance we have seen so far that you could interpret as time travel was Ubik manipulating Griffith's, and of was just that, manipulation of his thoughts, not physically becoming the gypsy woman that gave him the behelit
More people need to fucking die in Berserk, the death toll used to be huge, but during the sea god arc, I'm not sure anyone died. I think a few people got eaten by the sea god but Guts cut them out of the tentacles.
It's just the calm before the storm. The calm has just been going on for quite a while now.
>Guts sword can now cut through ethereal barriers or at the very least damage them.
>Guts no longer feels pain.
Seems like he's already over the first two obstacles he had in the first few volumes when he confronted griffith.
>Casca will be killed Guts goes into rage, unable to kill griffith the end
>Casca regains memories, goes back to Griffith, Guts rage, accidentally kills casca, griffith was mind controlling casca, guts kill griffith.
>Guts and co reach elfheim,Elf king ally of Griffith, the end.
>Guts and co reach elfheim, casca normal, convinces guts to give up revenge, they settle as farmers, happy end.
>As they pull into port theycrash into the just departing HxH boat and everybody from both series' dies instantly
>Miura dies before writing the end in 40 more years.
Is the manga still on hiatus? I don't know what was going through Miuras head when he put them on that fucking boat. It's like the entire manga changed in its mood, to some realistic One Piece adventure.
It's like he spent so many chapters introducing Guts' party and the band of the hawk, then just decided he was sick of it all. He needs to get off his lazy ass and fix the manga.
Same here, anon. I still like but is no longer a big thing to me. Also, the movies did not help much.
Casca gets some major power through absorbing wise magical rape raven's demon semen into her body, and uses it against Griffith because he's too much of a good boy to kill his mother. Of course, no anons will believe this because they all think Casca will either die or betray Guts, but that would make the last seven years all for naught. Give her some character development, a nice enchanted weapon, make her useful again, and maybe people will realize why Guts is so devoted to her.
Anyway anons, here's an updated version of the folder I originally put on mediafire. Now with 216% more Cascafaggotry for your viewing pleasure.
I don't think he stopped developing, but he's become incredibly depressed and lethargic following getting the Berserk armor. Following the ELF ISLAND CARAVAN arc, they should all go to the dwarves and get him something better to work with, maybe bring back the original Black Swordsman armor with some tweaks to better aid him in fighting Astral gods and the like.
Does reborn Griffith have an apostle form?
well he cant be an edge lord in front of casca and his new crew. he still the same inside. he just doesnt show it unless hes fighting like when he was left behind in the troll cave alone, he was like "fucking finally alone, i can go ape shit now"
I think that the next time something inevitably happens to Casca, we're gonna see something extraordinary, especially with all the powerups Guts has had.
I'd rather see one or both of them actually doing something that defies causality. Even if it's out of nowhere, it'd be better than just throwing the power-up at them, saying some deep and profound bullshit before having them repeat the whole struggling business again.
Well, the Godhand seems to be defined more with a single aspect of their personality even more than apostles.
Apostles love and hate but Griffith seems to have no strong feelings at all.
Griffith is just as much of a shell as Casca is right now, having little to none of the personality of his pre-Eclipse self. People say Griffith this and Griffith that, but I'm just not interested in him. At least Casca is endearing with her comedy, a trait of hers that we will all miss when she returns to normal.
IIRC, Griffith returns to find Guts to see if he would feel anything, and doesn't. He shows no emotion or change of character or even satisfaction that he's finally achieved his dream. He's the same old "10/10 angelic perfect leader in every way" guy he always was.
It's almost unbelievable how static he is compared to Guts. The only time Griffith really shows his inner feelings is when Guts leaves the band, and he fucks the princess to prove he's still alpha, and gets arrested. And then after that when he tries to strangle Guts (I think?).
Wouldn't it have been hot if Casca just took a big stinky shit while she was being raped? I bet some pee would have complimented her nasty crap nicely.
It might have even stopped Griffisu from raping her. Like, he is doing her doggy style. She is all bent over with her cheeks spread. Griffisu is humping at her pussy when all of a sudden a strong stank enters his demon nostrils. He feels a sticky warm substance on his belly and groin. He looks down to inspect her butt-hole, and sees that she had a smelly accident all over him.
Imagine where the story would be now if all she did was poop on Griffisu.
>That girl in the middle
He could always find the dwarfs, and end up doing some weird fetch quest in order to gain another artifact.
You might also recall from that scene that Griffith comments to himself that he feels a slight heartbeat coming from himself but he quickly dismisses it as a remnant of the of the baby that the egg ate right before his rebirth
Honestly I'm imagining them to be something like gnomes considering these are his elves.
>implying Griffith would reward her for choosing Guts over him
Basic logic, anon. Casca, as Miura's best girl, is assigned to the fate of suffering eternally, for that is when she is at her most beautiful.
Guts and Casca are the only named characters that get raped, and there are only four or five instances of full on rape in the series. Even the attempts stopped over ten years ago, so people who go on about rape rape rape in Berserk are just a buncha lousy SJWs.
Farnese almost gets raped by a horse, trolls rape all the women they find, Griffith whores himself out to some old guy because of guilt, Griffith rapes the princess and lots of other characters gets sexually exploited.
Berserk very much uses sex in a unromantic way quite often. I also wouldn't use the boat arc as an argument because of how brief a period it's in the actual narrative.
Sex is only used once in a romantic manner, anon. However, I think you are over-exaggerating and misusing rape as a catch-all term for sexual exploitation.
Who cares about whether it's bad or not? It's about the way people go on about Berserk like it's just some sleazy hentai when we haven't gotten anything sexual (outside of nudie Casca fanservice) for so long. Saying that, it's high time Miura starts being lewd again. Luca and her whores are back, after all.
I like how attractive Guts is compared to most of the other men in the series. To give him all those extra features would take away his physical appeal, and anons would no longer talk about how much they want Guts to make fuck with them.
Well, it's romantic from her point of view, but as the reader knows Griffith's full intentions it doesn't have the same atmosphere as Guts' and Casca's later scene.
What is the best fappable moment in the series?
You know this is the only option.
Sorry, do not blame me. blame Miura.
Some anons don't realize that, no matter how much Guts struggles, he'll never be able to defeat the God Hand without some intervention that transcends divinity. That could be why Skully told him about the possibility of Casca recovering, as her getting better is Guts' only hope of ever attaining a normal life. All that matters now is what her wish is.
>Yes assuming Guts gets Skull knights ability to cut through dimensions
Because that worked fantastically for him, didn't it?
>implying those two things will work
>As they pull into port theycrash into the just departing HxH boat and everybody from both series' dies instantly
This is the only way I see either series getting any conclusion
I doubt Guts would trade out the Dragonslayer, since its gained the ability to hurt supernatural shit by slaying apostles, and most mundane weapons are ineffective against them.
I could see the dwarves performing maintenance, though. Maybe giving him a better prosthetic arm.
>ywn have sex with crazy Farnese
>birth of the hellhound
recent action spreads are some of the best in manga
He wasn't going to win for long. He only beat the lower level people. Regardless what people say about the Berserker armor, I still think that using it puts him out of commission for a while. He's actually weaker than he used to be because he used it.
Guts has to learn how to git gud by never getting hit.
The problem is, when he gets hurt, the armor tries to fix him by piercing his bones and twisting his body.
And the berserker armor is super-light, and far more super-durable than his old stuff.
So, the main problem is that Guts is now fighting far more brutal monsters who are so strong and quick that he'd already be dead without the superior defenses the armor provides, simply because he's now exposed to unavoidable attacks like the immense heart beat of the Sea God or some crystal apostle dragon that can slam very hard.
d-does that mean you're a girl with a giant dick?
Why is berserk hellhound Guts so ridiculous? Most dogs only learn tricks like sit, shake, and roll over.
>The boat ride has been less than 30 chapters so far.
Fucking hell, really? I never realized that. Hurry up Miura, I want to at least get to the beginning of the final climax before you croak.
FINAL PARTY OR AT LEAST LARGEST TEAM OF GUTS ALIVE AT ONE TIME
>Knight girl/scerpico's sister who went full autist
>Indian/Arabic assassain dude
>Clairvoyance girl who admires Griffith (maybe her knight as well)
>undead fetus of Guts & Casca
Am I missing anyone? It's been a while since I read, so I forgot some of the names.
>possibly Skull Knight, Sir Owen, and the boyfriend of the one hooker
I can't even remember why they were fighting during this. Then those shitty monsters showed up, feels like all the monster designs have gotten the same lately. the good ones were reserved for griffiths army
The Berserker armor is amazing.
Dog mode is okay but the moveset sucks.
Batman mode looks lame.
serpico did not want guts to take back farnese. I thought it seemed out of character for guts to care about getting her back into the party anyway, seems he would just say forget her.
It would be hard to forget something like this and let it go.
Yo does anyone remember after the eclipse ricker meets up with that fortune teller and she says something about how he is the destined child or some shit like that? Wtf was that all about? Will Rickert be more powerful than the God Hand? Because I'm pretty sure that the fortune teller was also the one to give Griffith the crimson behelit so she obviously knows some shit. Any thoughts on that?
His dragonslayer sword is magical enough to harm a God Hand.
And his most potent magical upgrade is a dwarven berserker armor with a magical talisman inscribed in it that allows him to finally sleep at night and feel the sun without all the constant random encounters fucking up his sleep rhythm.
Still, nothing the entire group has could really stop the God Hand. Not even the Skull Knight with his uberswordskills and superdimension-slashing sword managed to put a dent to the God Hand's evil keikaku.
>note: keikaku means plan.
It will never end
Because he's deep in shit emotionaly. He's an artist with a broken back.
Uncut gems are still gems though. I guess he's anxious about making a flaw with his neo-artsy style he's developed.
The old Guts would just be a bit more messy but he's perhaps already been set up to be a god too much like Griffith.
A path already lost.
That's what I'd feel after making the scenery so much perfect-like, that Guts almost has become the new Jojo...
I've been hearing that Berserk is nearing 60ish percent finished. If that's so it seems we are heading straight for a showdown with a member of the God Hand very soon. Maybe even one at Fairy Island while we deal with this Caska business. Miura will likely have to move quickly into the God Hand battles to keep himself from rushing through all at once right towards the end, which would blow.
So who do you think is the weakest of the God Hand members, my guess is Ubik or Slan. I imagine Guts will fight them all in order of power, with Griffith being last, followed by the Idea of Evil himself. I expect at least one Skull Knight + Guts cooperative battle.
Which Gutsbros do you expect to die? I think Serpico is the first on the chopping block, being the least important one now that Farnese has found her place in the team, and Serpico seems to have completed his character arc mostly. If Miura decides to kill them all systematically then Schierke will of course be the last surviving member besides Caska in my opinion.
Do you think Casca will get her memory back or no?
Elfen island will probably be some sort of trap or fake image created by Slan to fuck around with Guts and try to make him resort to his inner rage for her amusement, or to turn him into a demon. The elfs had allready left or had been murdered, guts faces her as soon as the façade gets destroyed, but also faces the fact that Caska will never recover her memories and thus will never be her old self.
Slan asks him if thats what he wants, to continue carrying a carcass around with him instead of embracing his best self.
Guts doubts himself, Serpico gets killed because of his doubts, Guts becomes mad as all fuck and kills Slan but also becomes closer than ever to his old edgy and demon-like self.
Story ends up with all of his friends dead, Caska near dead in his embrace, looks at Guts one final time, no words, just one look into his eyes... "Guts..."
I dont know how he will deal with Griffith, but im kind of sure that he will end up fighting AGAINST skull knight for some reason, just got this feeling
I doubt that Schierke will die, since without her the armor will just completely control Guts. I kinda see everyone else dying when they get there (besides the fairies of course). But I like the battle the Hell Hound and Schierke are having over Guts, and I expect it to stay in the series until its near conclusion.
Berserk RPG I'm making, I hope to finish it before Miura releases a new chapter. I'm on page 57 of volume 1 so far.
He won't. Miura will veer finish the series, instead we'll begin an MLA citation written conclusion to the story. It will be filled to the brim with tones of acceptance and mental peace. You won't get the Iron Pill ending you want.
Favorite Gutsbro everyone?
I gotta go with Schierke; I thought she was unfitting as fuck at first. She won me over though with her interaction with Guts, she's the only one who was able see past our hero's rough exterior.
Something like this I imagine.
Like Schierke, he's one of the only people who've seen what the eclipse entailed and understand Guts personality.
Nah, he obviously still cares despite claiming otherwise. When Guts and Zodd fight on the hill of swords, Griffith has an internal monologue where he notices that seeing Guts in the heat of battle is causing his heart to flutter, but he excuses it as after effects of being reborn from the egg that swallowed his baby.
There's also pic related, where Griffith is staring right at Guts from across the countryside after he and Zodd drive off Gainshka.
>tfw in Berserk thread
It's beautiful really. No bitching over waifus, no shipping, no complaining about stupid shit. Just good old Berserk discussion.
Your opinion is pretty fucking stupid. Guts' party is one of the greatest main casts of characters in the industry.
Jesus christ how fucking annoying, no wonder Miura is going crazy.
Elf Island is destroyed by apostles.
Joins Guts but can't heal Casca though can restrain apostles with magic
Griffith moves out to destroy the God Hand and make his kingdom eternal
>Devil Dogs will never be animated.
>Lost Children will never be animated.
Why do they hate my favourite parts?
>The studio behind the movies
>The studio behind the movies is saying Lost Children is next
They're working on that shit?
God damn, maybe now they've sorted out their animation issues and have a better paced arc to work with, we might get something awesome.
Normally I'd agree with you, but that would also mean one fewer chapter that is progressing the plot. Wouldn't even be funny if Miura came back and started a sub-plot about Skull Knight before Guts gets off the boat.
