Hey there. Dumping a dead scanlation (that doesn't have raws online, from what I can see). I've been wanting to post more Taniguchi, so I'll start with this since I've seen it mentioned a few times. 1 volume, 4 chapters translated.
>A family is devastated by the Great Tottori Fire of 1952, but the family comes to terms with the disaster and breaks free from the bonds holding them back.
If they did, I don't have it on me. It's been backlogged for a while.
They do, but they seem preoccupied with all these other series. Bunch of new ones just recently. GTO: Paradise Lost for instance. I don't think they want to do it all at once and I don't see why they would.
Some of their typesetting is so terribly awful. Some of it is alright. Translations seem average enough. I'm just still pissed they use like 75% quality jpeg. Considering they host anime and they don't really lose much by putting it up, it seems stupid.
Because they have access to original files, their releases(that I've looked at) still look infinitely better than any magazine releases by scanlation groups(and better than a lot of tankobon releases, too)
I didn't see anything wrong with their typesetting, either, but I might have missed the bad ones.
As long as casual reader doesn't give a fuck they won't change anything. Isn't it supposed to be designed for tablets and shit anyway?
I bet they don't provide hi-res version either.
