Yeah... Do the texturing again.
I wouldn't say it's that bad. It sure does require a bit of details and retexturing, but if you do that part, add a normal and a specular map to it, it should like kinda nice.
If you are going early ps1 it looks nice. If you are going photo real you need to add more edge loops on the blade and smooth it. Make the blades separate geo from the shaft. Then re UV and re texture. Good start though!

The first time someone used that, the handle would snap.
Look at the direction of the wood grain. Wood splits along the grain.
Look at a 2x4 and try again.
Also, the axehead looks like sheet metal. Find some reference photos of wrought iron.

Adding onto that, is that extra wooden part supposed to be sticking out of the top? I've never seen a double axe with the wood coming up that high. Maybe extra parts yeah but not just wood on an axe like that. Looks weirder with that part being bent along with the metal part as well.

The wood standing out from the top isn't too unusual (although normally, you'd cut it flush and drive a wedge in there to keep the head on).
The bend in the metal though - you're completely right about that. That wouldn't happen.
