enlightenment is being to deal with your shit. That's step 1.
Step 2 is explaining how you dealt with your shit so others may deal with theirs.
Enlightenment isn't just knowledge, it's teaching that knowledge to others.
If you want to go all glowy, one-with-the-universe then you must teach others and ease their suffering, maybe even the whole universe.
Problem is we're a stubborn species and if you try to teach everybody no1 will like it.

yes and no. Suffering is universal, broad, the specifics of that suffering may be unique but the underlying factors are not. Solutions are simple, comprehensible but require consistency. This is why it is hard, entropy increases simply by doing nothing. Do or do not, there must be try. People who don't try suffer. If you want to help, don't tell them, try with them, we are a social species after all.

I "stumbled" upon much knowledge and realizations after moving out to nature and living a much more simple life. I would describe it as part learning, part affirming things I already knew in a grander context. I would say it is like catching onto your role and seeing those of others (as they apply to your life, your journey.)
