Ty for the read. It's all well and good to say money blocks higher lessons, but I've lived through first hand through my parents how not having enough money leads to massive suffering and heartache. Nothing like having your mother with schizophrenia on disability, no savings, no assets, because your father lost everything, and knowing that in 5 - 10 years she's going to need to go in a home that she has no way of paying for. A denial yes, but in the long term one that oddly enough you look back on with a pained kind of gratitude. Like someone watching a city they considered living in someday burn to the ground. Generally speaking it seems your ability for advice or insight is spot on and that ironically this leads you to believe that people may be just using you for such capacities leaving you feeling a bit lonely in it all. That isn't to say you don't have social outlets or means of feeling better about it rather that it seems most of the time when people give you the time of day it's because they want or expect something in return. In a way you enjoy the attention of it all, yet know it's only because people want something. Ask yourself is it better to be well liked and generally used than to be ignored and not taken for granted? Tough call, but there's also a middle ground. To me it seems to remind me of a student or even a mentor-ship opportunity for someone not all that much younger than you, but eager to learn, more like a peer with a lack of knowledge that you could easily impart and they'd look up to you in an equal sense rather than kiss your ass or try to use you, a genuine platonic sense of friendship.

I don't think it's much as /you/ making her sad unless she's bipolar. If anything she's happy with you, she sees you as an ideal mate and would love to spend her forever with you and have a happy ending. She sees you as a dreamy man that she wants to take to new hights. There's also a possibility I suppose that you shift your emotions a lot, for then this change in behavior would make her sad but I don't get that vibe from you. There's a high chance she looks at your relationship with a warm eye because of how much she loves you.

It's something about the relationship that makes her sad. Is this a long distance thing? She wishes you two were together in person.
