My advice based on what you told me is to look at studio solo artists. I know One Man Bands are common in Black Metal, with Burzum and Xasthur being the big two names. Also, a lot of composers are more or less OMBs of their own, like Mick Gordon. That's an interesting take on the Four of Wands, and especially in the area of romance it's pretty accurate.
