This seems most likely to me. Other mummies/parts of mummies with similar deformities were found so perhaps a group in the area all resembled this thing. Perhaps the people in this area were subject to some sort of radiation or environmental toxin that caused these deformities. Ok Peruvian archaeologist here. This is what I think but first some history. The first of these findings hit the media around 4 or 5 months ago appearing first on a YouTube channel and then making the move to more mainstream outlets. At this time the only thing showed were small humanoid mummies and a big ass three fingered hand. Xrays of the hand and the small humanoids proved they indeed had an internal bone structure though this structure was fucked up, specially the wrist bones on the big hand. Such obvious anatomic incongruences raised alarms and my opinion at the time was that the findings, though not necessarily “fake”, did not belong to a human being. Now, let me explain why I didn’t think they were fake per se; you see, ancient “Peruvian” people were a highly skilled and imaginative bunch; I have personally seen small parrots made out of clay covered in thousands of tiny real parrot feathers to the point that it looked like a real fucking mummified parrot. So findings like these may very well be the first taxidermy samples ever recorded in ancient Peru; and the fact that they remained hidden to the public may very well be because the guys that found the mummies were looting graves, a sadly common practice among people of every economical strata in the country, and as such they may go to jail or have to pay a fine.

Note for example the bottom of the mummy (the ass), take a look at the “baggy” and rugged disposition of the skin were the organs and liquids accumulate during putrefaction. Also, note the dark brown color of the samples taken from this part, this is very close to what rotten and dry tissue looks like on a “mummy” (real, like Egyptian, mummies are not common in the Andes where mummies are the product of dry environmental conditions desiccating the skin and internal organs). I’ve never seen the white dust before, but they say it covers the skin so it could be clay dust, paint or even salt, who knows. The shape of the head doesn’t strike me as nothing unusual, the fingers though, I’ve no explanation for them, however, I remember reading a long time ago about a medical case in Ica (where Nazca is located) of a peasant girl having only 3 ling dinger in each hand but being able to stick a thread through the eye of a needle.
One last thing, if these guys are telling the truth and they actually took samples for radiocarbon testing and such, they probably did this illegally, as they would need special permits for everything.

Old journalism rule of thumb: If your headline is a question, the answer is almost definitely "no".

Hands and feet could quite easily be forced to grow like that via surgical procedure with very simple tools. Amputate the fourth finger and thumb from the base of the hand and bind tightly in cloth from an early age. Could be a ritual practice. There are well established records of south American and African cultures binding the skull with cloth and wood splints to influence development, it's not much of a reach to think they'd try the same with the hands.

My money is on it being a legitimate find, but it's an intentionally deformed human not an alien. Likely some kind of religious avatar intended for worship. Why they'd specifically want it to look like that I've no idea, but if there's an ayy connection it's more likely that the subject was made to look like one than that it actually is one.

To stop the feet growing longer and broader the Chinese used to break the toe knuckles downwards and bind the digits tightly to the bottom of the feet. The profile of the foot would be limited by the bindings but the toes would continue to grow longer up the underside of the foot. Apply the same principle to binding the hands width ways but not length ways and it follows that the fingers would grow longer than they would have normally.

So, I found out about this yesterday and this is what i got.
Half a year ago, two ufologist the peruvian Paul Ronceros (also known as Krawix) and the french Thierry Jamin (the same one who wanted to excavate in Machu Picchu searching the tomb of Pachacuti) began uploading videos of supposedly mummified alien parts.
Ronceros has 1 miniature humanoid, 3 elongated hands with 3 fingers each one and a small sized humanoid head, Jamin has also similar parts and many more but supposedly he hasn't revealed his full collection yet.
All the youtubers mummy parts seem to have been covered in white clay, but they only show traces of it instead of being completely covered in white like the Gaia mummy.
They likely bought it from the same person, Ronceros claims that the dealer goes by the name of Mario and is likely a huaquero i.e. "looter".
Mario supposedly found all the mummies on a sarcophagus in an archaeological site on the nazca desert, the mexican Jaime Mausan became interested on these mummies, and after doing some coverage of the smaller ones, Mausan announced a tv series with the help of Gaia, they have 4 mummies according to a peruvian working on it, the big one show on the video and 3 much smaller ones that haven't been shown yet, it isn't clear how Mausan came to be the owner of these mummies.
According to Ronceros, the mummy parts he owns are indeed made of bones and organic tissue, but the x-rays show that the internal structure is fucked up as we can see here >>19178491
Is evident that Ronceros mummy parts are made up, it's settled after he consulted with several experts, his mummies were made by joining parts of animals and of people, for example this >>19178938 small humanoid head was originally a canine head and has a carved face at the back of the skull.

Now Ronceros believes that his mummies were purposely made to look that way by the ancient peruvians (possibly Nazca, Paracas or Huari according to him), they look alien on purpose since they couldn't mummify the real deal, a somewhat naive supposition since he hasn't done the carbon testing yet.
Anyways, recently the culture ministry of peru has opened an investigation to 5 people including the two youtubers for trafficking heritage assets, but they haven't taken any action on the four mummies in possession of Gaia and Mausan. Though Mausan said he would hand them over to the culture ministry when the research is over.

So some plausible explanations I have:
1. The mummies are fake, Mario made up all of this to earn easy money from gullible ufologists, the Gaia one could be an exception though, Mario just took one of thousands of mummies found throughout Peru and painted it white, that maybe would explain why the carbon test yield 500 AD, that or Gaia is fucking with us.
2. The mummies are real, the Gaia mummy like virtually all mummies in pre-columbian peru (even much more so the important ones) was venerated in a ancestor worship cult and the little ones acted as idols, but that doesn't explain the hands and feet, perhaps she was born that way or it was a modification made after her death, maybe by worshipers to make her seem more sacred.
