It's difficult because sometimes the pictures mean what they depict - like a bread bun meaning a bread bun, and sometimes they just represent letters, like bread bun representing the sound "t" - the best we can do is translate letter by letter, but even that isn't useful, because no-one speaks ancient egyptian. The best we can do is guess, and look for frequent characters, like the star and Sacred Ibis characters.

Serket/Khnemu Circle Right Side Column 2 partial translation. It's startin to get SPOOPY. Serpents can sometimes refer to either a serpent as an animal, but it may also refer to Apep. I think that's what they're trying to do, referring to the horned viper.

I've been trying to work through this one with a kanji dictionary using the radicals I can recognize, but it's difficult and I have to get ready for work.

I am by no means an expert in the Egyptian language, but I just started trying to decipher some of the hieroglyphs contained in the first image. I think my initial theory about a reference to Thoth was incorrect. It looks like the author was taking the symbols straight out of a hieroglyphic dictionary, and using them in their forms as whole words, rather than just letters. I will report back when I have more done.

Note: if anyone else is working on the hieroglyphs, it looks like some hieratic symbols were tossed in, as well.
