This is probably true, I watched some of it , I didnt see the blast but I can confirm that the channel that showed a bloody scene after the timer was up had one livestream at one point which was the normal stream but towards the end he broadcasted two livestreams from the same channel. I was translating here a little bit.
Shit was confusing because there was a short delay between stream (in which we could have seen her answers) and radio so.
We know that she is from Moscow and she was not sure in which part of the Moscow she was at that moment.
She was either alone in the room or not alone because of the delay.
They tried to find out the phone number of someone she know to call them but the stream stopped when they got only 5 numbers.


The suspicious points is how fast they gave up on it and assumed it was connected to that spic game stream.
Although I think it was just a reaction of their scare when they have realised that the shit is real and they fucked up and got nothing out of her so they tried to get away from this story as fast as they could.
Also during the radio connection they tried and failed to call the cops which is suspicious too. One of the listeners called on the radio and told them that he was able to get to the cops and they unwillingly promised to look into the case.

Things we know for sure, at least, as far as I know, add corrections where you can:

Stream was up intermittently for 8 hours, during which time a power cut that affect Moscow was noted, apparently rain can be heard, and traffic, and the apparent captive moving around. However, only, as far as I can find, about 10 minutes of the total video is doing the rounds. Any details on the rest of the vid would be handy.

The captive communicated with the radio station that was playing in the room. Seems like they asked her some simple questions about the crime. The jist is, she got as far as giving five digits of a phone number (her's or her parents, not sure which) before the stream was cut. Unclear whether the stream was cut by the captive or by periscope.

The last event known for sure is a glass thrown at the feet of the captive (still an odd detail, in my opinion).

Russian media doesn't seem to be report, at least not heavily.

Another short video which seems to show blood, but which is really essentially inconclusive, can't even tell if its same area/room as the girl was held.

There's a lot that make is seem sort of fake (the glass being thrown, the very typical production values) but then, the fact it went on for 8 to 10 hours... that's commitment to a prank/advert.

The woman is pretty recognisable, if that was your family member in the chair, or a friend, it wouldn't be hard to recognise them. Has she been recognised? Does the fact we see her face make it more or less likely that this is a hoax?

Video stops 8 minutes before the countdown runs out. This coincides with the glass throwing. If hoax then we can take this as play acting. If real, what is the underlying psychology that explains that behaviour?

I lean towards the video being staged, but the sheer length of it makes me question that. Is it possible she was getting up, wandering around, taking toilet breaks etc, between streams going up, if it was a hoax?

having a bomb strapped to her could be a reason of her not struggling.

Solved... The issue to me is... how is this in anyway productive? I mean, a bunch of us, maybe stupidly, spent a bunch of time trying to figure out wtf is going on, and it turns out its a 'social experiment', which means to say, it was a prank, basically. Sure, lots of people wanted to help, but I saw some of the comments.
Lots of people were in it for the thrill or because they are sick fucks who wanted to watch a woman die. Do you want to give those people, and the ones who would set up such a stream, a platform?
Not talking about risking your reputation (which would tank of course), but just the thought of giving people a place they can do that kind of stuff.

It's sad to know that if something like this happens in real not much can be/will be done. But what can you, as a website provider, do except for notifying authorities and giving them all information you can gather?
Not sure if keeping it up for the sake of some people online maybe being able to help is worth it.

The point was how YouTube and Periscope crew would handle it, not us viewers. Would they contact the authorities and give them all the needed data? Would they do anything to save the victim? The result is - nope, they'll just block everything to get clean out of it. You can be murdered all you want as long as this happens offscreen of their site. Also it was really hard to report this to the police for outsiders because of the blocks every 3-5 minutes.
Black Elephant weren't expecting that this would get so much attention from the outsiders, russian anons, 4chan anons and even fucking radio they put on the background just to show that this is not some recordings and is happening on live. They were ready to face authorities and to pay charges, but if not for that radio bros and that listener, police wouldn't even know this happened.
