Well there is something here. The area is covered by a triangle of up rooted trees with dirt in the middle. the trees also seem to be burnt. There is a pair of very small boots, I plank of wood, and I brought my own shovel but there seems to be one here already.

Wait there is something else in the calliope. Almost didn't see it since it was crumpled up. Its a paper with some writing. The paper looks pretty recent. The words are faded and smudged pretty bad though. I'm gonna find some shade and see if I can make it out.

After this, the coordinates from the second message were found to lead to a specific location within Appomattox-Buckingham State Forests just outside woodstock AL, which matches up with the location from the third message as well.
