Op here, honestly don't feel an Evil with it as much as a deep attraction. Was about to sell it on Etsy for over $800 and just had this feeling that I would not be able to live with myself if I lost this beautiful piece. I dug it out of an old Gator pit as we locals call it, near Winyah Bay South Carolina while salvaging other old cypress and heart pine for lumber. General Marion lead his men through this area that is notorious for a two-day battle along old Georgetown Road which is now abandoned and grown over. Pic related, found it 5ft to my left.
