how many times have you been lucid? what practices do you do?

whenever I get lucid it's really hard not to gain too much control. It becomes more like a daydream. I've tried tricks like looking at my hands but everything seems very shallow and stagnant and often dont last very long.
maybe I need a dream mission or something. because too often I just want to have sex with a dream lady.

those are good. just be patient, you cant really force it.
the easiest time to have a lucid dream is after you wake up and go back to bed. positive affirmations are also good. for example thinking to yourself you will be lucid before you go to bed or wearing a ring to make you think about being lucid and wearing it when you sleep or using a dream catcher, but that might have other consequences if you're affected by that kind of stuff.

This one comes from a night I was practising the MILD technique, ended up having 2 or 3 lucid dreams.

>Cycling to uni
>Was only practising the MILD induction a few minutes before
>Suddenly remember to check myself
>Instantly know that I'm dreaming
>Try to confirm it, can't remember how I got there
>Stop my bike, enjoy the feeling of being in a dream
>Think of what to do, completely forget the tasks I had planned for when I was lucid dreaming
>Horny as fuck suddenly, decide to try find some women
>Pull bike in front of cars, looking in each one
>They're all about 5/10 each
>Eventually just decide to go for one car
>They go around and start driving away
>Realise I need to catch up with them quickly
>Throw my bike in the air, try to make it fly away with my finger
>Flies away erratically

>Remember the car
>Try to convince myself that I can run faster than a speeding bullet
>Start running pretty fucking fast down the motorway after car

Nothing recalled after that, pretty sure I woke up

this is how happens with me:

>wake up around 4am.
>try to sleep again around 5am.

All the info you find online is true. Unfortunately it's a very slow process mixing mental imagery and dream journals. After about four months of practice I can do it every night.

Personally I use it to spend time with my dead wife (yes, I know it's not real) I can see, hear and touch her. Sometimes I'll have dinner with her, sit in a park and watch people fly kites or play with dogs. Once in awhile I'll re-create a past memory.
