Primitive humans interpreting advanced technology, alien or otherwise. As it stands, I don't think there is enough information about these for us to be able to reconstruct them. The biggest issue with this and other "advanced" forms of travel is developing an understanding of the propulsion method and the energy source it draws on. A lot of what I've read on this subject hints at magnetism and other generic "anti-gravity" methods which are all science fiction at this point. This train of though kind of takes is hand on hand with explaining the behavior of UFOs that have been reported, particularly in regards to their movement patterns. We would need to develop a better understanding of the physics behind gravity, magnetism, and other fields related to particle interaction. I don't know about you guys, but I had trouble wrapping my head around the math of basic electromagnetism. Some very, very smart people have a lot if work to do here. Assuming they develop an idea about how to capitalize on these phenomena, we would still need a power source to fulfill it. That's a other story, probably answered by antimatter or something like that.
