and yeah i legit think that we're all god. i've listened to like a thousand hours of his stuff on youtube. wholly recommend to every person on earth.
He's a great 101 course into Eastern religions and comparative philosophy.
listening to watts always makes me feel at peace. he has such a whimsical soothing voice and everything he says is basically 'everything is okay'
10/10 would recommend
I've listened to Out of your Mind multiple times and read at least 4 of his books.
I just how his work isn't reduced to a 'neat soundbite over epic music in youtube'. His research and insights have helped me, among other things, to cope with and accept my mother's death.

This isn't Watts
>>17269773
Yeah but the audiobook has id3 tags and is really good quality. almost a gig of audio.
it's been a great listen so far
Can anyone recommend any other speakers who are as pleasing to listen to as Watts?

Dr. Stephan Hoeller is similarly whimsical in nature. McKenna is good too.
>>17269020
garbled hippie misinterpretations of buddhism
but he helped a lot of people feel better so whatever works is good at least for that

>that one guy

Manly Hall

I much prefer the download too, good to listen to on long drives, while doing dishes, at the gym...any time I'm able to actually give it the attention or deserves.

>isn't reduced to a 'neat soundbite over epic music in youtube'
yeah but those which are, are exceptionally awesome too.
dude really was a boss. shame alcohol got him at such a young age.
Watt's is great. Very charismatic speaker. I could listen to him for hours. He has a way of making things sound simple. He had a great laugh too. Although I do feel like he doesn't go too deep, if you're looking for more extrapolation of the things he talks about.
I also like Ram Dass. They kinda have a similar style, although Ram Dass tends to be more based in Hinduism.
I've listened to a lot of different teachers and gurus, but I've never found others aside from these two that I actually downloaded audio from. Others just don't seem to have the speaking presence that these two have.

Bane?

Sadhguru is a funny guy. He doesn't say things to please the crowd. He always just tells it how it is.
