Nuclear War fiction.
I fucking love the concept of Nuclear War and all the neat fiction/documentaries etc.. that's been created around it. Some of the classics:

Show me what ya got, /x/ - I want all your neat Nuclear War content.
IMHO the best in the genre is "A Canticle for Leibowitz"

Miller later wrote a sequel called "Saint Leibowitz and the Wild Horse Woman", but had enough sense not to publish it as it turned out awful. Poor guy, after he died the family put it on the market, just not right. Avoid part II at all costs.
Great Granddaddy of the Nuclear Apocalypse books:

Read it long, long ago. It might be a tad creaky and quaint now a days.
