Hey, guys, what horror movies are there to look forward to in 2016? Anything that warrants some hype?
I just found out there's going to be a third Ring movie after years of delays, and it's due out in April. Pretty damn excited.
What about the rest of you guys?
>good horror movie
thats stretching anon, i honestly don't believe the talent exists atm
havent seen crimson peaks tho, maybe thats good? Alien: Covenant is out in 2017 or 18 and is directed by Ridley Scott, but he shit the bed with Prometheus and The Martian so..
Let me save you two hours of your life. Crimson peaks is a crime thriller that uses a ghost as a plot device. If you want good horror, it isn't the place to find it. Also, The Forest is shit, don't bother with that one either.
Might still watch Crimson Peak just because. But I was NEVER considering The Forest lmao, movie looked like it was going to be shit just from the trailer. You only need to see the trailers to see if a horror movie is just another tween pandering piece of shit
i enjoyed crimson peak, if not just for the visual appeal. would recommend.
Really hoping that the new Ring movie is better than The Ring 2. The Ring 2 was horseshit. They've had a decade to work on this, so they'd better make some shit happen.Johnny Galecki is going to be in it. Not sure how I feel about that yet, but we'll see.
The 2016 Ring movie is going to be about a killer meme
Looking forward to 31, the VVitch, and the conjuring 2. Saw the forest unplanned at the theater cause my girl wanted too. She loves horror films but is a pussy and gets scared easily.
The forest has a shit plot and nothing but obvious jump scares. She wants to watch the boy too so I'll probably go see that as well
The Witch looks the most promising out of everything else I've heard about this year. Saw the trailer while seeing the Forest last night and that trailer was scarier than the entire fucking movie I watched.
>implying white girls with black hair can be scary in 2016
>maybe a spooky monster that is only seen for about 10 seconds altogether in a two hour movie
I hate new movies.
Damn son, just watched the trailer as well. Looks pretty damn good. Can't find a release date for it though, does anyone know when it comes out?
I know this was last year, but did anyone see Goodnight Mommy? I really wanted to but didn't get the chance.
Crimson Peak is bad. The plot makes no sence, nothing is explained, shit just happens, and it isn't even scary. I wouldn't spend a cent on it if I knew how it was.
