Diabetes is still a problem, but it is treated better, more like hay fever or any other allergy.
As for the weight gain problem, pretty much all food in my time is healthy and nourishing, and overeating isn't a real problem.
Sugary foods and fatty foods are taxed very heavily, making it almost impossible for normal people to get overweight.

This isn't particularly well thought out, OP. Some constructive criticisms, if you'd like:

1) The super secret/highly technologically advanced/supreme being/etc needs to have a very specific purpose for posting on 4chan/communication with us mortals. An AMA during an investigation into restoring the timeline doesn't feel sufficient. One possible reason could be that you are looking to construct a reliable eyewitness account of recent events in a specific ommunity without raising alarms. Something for you to ponder.

2) for time travel related posts, read up on current theories regarding the nature of the universe. String theory is a current favorite of speculative fiction, but there are many differing ideas which are all just about as credible from which you can pepper your posts with terminology. Sounding credible to the role you are playing, even if you don't actually understand much of the science yourself, is crucial.

3) Using a well known symbol is a double edged sword with these posts. Not saying it's necessarily bad, just wielded clumsily in this instance.

4) This is just a pet peeve, really, but intelligent people don't generally say 'devolve' as there is no such process. Evolution guides a group/species/what have you along a path that is most useful for survival, which may not necessarily result in what our society would see a progress. Saying something like "only progressed to" would work better for the character you've presented us with.

Solid core idea, though! I'm looking forward to seeing more in the future
