I need some help in deciding between two cards, from people a bit more tech savvy than myself.
the choice is between the 'MSI R9 390' and the 'Radeon R9 390X'
obviously the 390x should be the better model but is this the case being this cheap and a different brand?

390x is better

more shaders = better performance even if you can't overclock
even that model? how come its so much cheaper than the other 390x's?

Mostly this
However: unless you're planning on running Crysis 12 on real world ultra-giga-mega setting you won't notice that much difference with a r9 390... which is cheaper
Just saiyan
thanks for the help :)
Get the 390 the x just has a higher factory overclock which can be done yourself.
