Hi /r/,
I was browsing /b/ several years ago and encountered a thread where people posted images that had certain parts blocked by apparently randomness, but could be "unlocked" if you had the password.
For anyone with some technical knowhow, what I think it was is a program that lets you encrypt parts of an image using private-key encryption, via a variety of methods. Images could look like the one I put up, and when you give it a passphrase like "icecream" it would reveal the true image.
I'm working on some algorithms and would very much like to play around with that program.
If anyone can help, I would be most grateful.
Gmask?

You mean "symmetric encryption". If you wanted to make the private key be some nice string, you'd have to brute force your own public key.
Like with tripcodes.
