Hello,

I have a problem with the keyboard of my Macbook Air. After a while of working so-so the Delete Key on my keyboard has completely stopped working. Now not having a Delete Key is a pain the arse so I'm looking for a work around to allow me to assign the Delete function to a lesser used Key.

I have tried several different programs that are supposed to allow me to reassign functions to keys, however, none of them had any effect.

Karabiner actually has an option that would do exactly what I want, which is assigning the Backslash Key the Delete function and making Fn+Backslash the actual Backslash.

For some reason despite me ticking the box in Karabiner nothing happens, the change doesn't apply. I've been trying for hours and am rather frustrated by now.

If anyone is willing to give me detailed instructions in order to fix my problem I will happily throw a couple bucks into your paypal account if you provide one with your post.
