Summer: I thought charlotte had an interesting premise, although I was disappointed by the progression and ending. NNB repeat I didn't like as much as the first season, it just didn't feel as refreshing. Durarara was meh, it's getting really slow now and they're dragging it on

Fall: Noragami was bad imo but I didn't like the first season either. Sakurako-san no ashimoto was interesting but it wasn't great or anything. Perfect insider was decent. Utawarerumuno was ok

Winter: so far, boku dake ga inai machi is super interesting, though I personally really like mysteries. Dagashi is funny, as is sekkou boys. Durarara went to shit though

Try coda, Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mo Uso o Kasaneru, Shounen Oujo, and AKB49 - Renai Kinshi Jourei. Hachimitsu Scans does a ton of gender bender/trap series too and decent quality control, so check out what they've done. Ouran and Hana Kimi if you're at all into shoujo romance. Boy Skirt is pretty popular, but I couldn't get into it.

Here's some with a physical gender changes too since I doubt I'll check this thread again: Ame Nochi Hare, Shut Hell, and Ore to Hero to Mahou Shoujo (more comedy focused, but still worth a read.) Shishunki Bitter Change is body swap if you're about that.

Attack on Titan is really popular, and it's getting a second season in not too long, so you could watch the first season now and be ready for the next.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica is another really good and popular anime that you could give a try.

If you want something with less action, you could try Love Live. It's about a group of girls that have an idol group.

Other than that, you could go for some older, but less talked about, stuff. But there is just too much of this, so I'll just mention some. K-on!, a slice of life about a group of girls. Serial Experiments Lain, a very deep show that's really interesting to watch, and it is entertaining. Visions of Escaflowne, a girl is transported to pretty well crafted fantasy world. Toradora, one of the most popular romance anime.

There is so much you could watch, and I can only give general suggestions without more to work off.

Looking for two types of recommendations:
1. Movies or movie-length OVAs I haven't seen. Anything good, preferably classics, older or newer ones. If anything slightly surreal/weird comes to mind that would be the best but if not then just anything I haven't seen.
2. Any kind of series or movie with a unique visual design. Examples would by works by Yuasa (seen all of them): Kaiba, Tatami Galaxy or Mind Game and works by Kenji Nakamura: Kuuchuu Buranko or Mononoke. Stuff that looks untypical compared to anime usually.

I just want anything similar to oregairu, either the first or the second season. So basically either a comedy with an antisocial character as the MC or a romance/drama with good plot and characters. Also I could as well enjoy some shoujo, I don't know what are considered the classics, I watched isshuukan friends and enjoyed it a lot
