My guess its a broken PSU or CPU if you are getting enough power to it. Full build list?

i couldnt find my RAM or cpu cooler
>>39575
my RAM is 8 gigs and its ballistix brand

Do you have a paperclip or something metal that can complete a circuit around you? Try connecting the green and black wires on your 24 pin connector on your PSU with a paperclip or something else. If your PSU fan spins up then it isn't your PSU
>>39578
Oh and use something rubber to touch it when putting the wire in so you dont shock yourself
>>39578
yeah i tried that earlier today actually, psu worked fine
some of my friends on twitter who know more about computer stuff than i do said it sounds like a busted motherboard
>>39580
It might be. I'm Guessing you cant test your parts in another computer right? You might have destroyed your motherboard if you touched it too much or you let a screw roll on it, I've destroyed motherboards that way
>>39582
letting a screw roll on it can make it not work? im really new to building pcs and i really should have just bought a pre-built one
>>39582
ive been dealing with a lot right now im my life, so this is just the cherry on top of the shit pile that is my life right now
i appreciate the help
>>39586
Nah its fine, thats actually how I fried my first motherboard. If you dont regularly return anything to amazon you can probably get a free refund if you say it was dead on arrival, I have gotten a couple free refunds that way
>>39589
i got it from outlet pc and i talked to them today, im gonna exchange it for a new one
ill try to be more careful next time
