What's your budget?

My company uses pelican cases when we're out doing fieldwork, but that might be overkill?

About the pelican cases, yes it's a bit over kill. I'm a bit careless and rough when I put my laptop on my desk and sometimes I smack my backpack in the wall but I'm not going to war or diving hah. I need something stronger than usual shoulderbags but nothing too serious. Thanks!!

What I'd reccomend trying is just a normal shoulder/messenger bag but with exra foam on the inside in order to absorb as much shock as possible, and if possible, try to get a case for your laptop itself (like those plastic cases you see on ipods).

I have a realy good dell bag that has loads of padding on theinside and thanks to it's matterial it's water proof - but I can't remeber the exact model, I'll try looking for it.if I have some free time
