Pic related shows this error(3194), but I don't want to restore it for them.
Currently updating the Itunes version on this Windows 7 laptop, but do you guys know what's the problem with this and why the I pad wont update?

Okay, firstly:
You can only update to 9.2 . You don't really "update" iDevices, you replace the entire OS with a new OS. For the replacement to work Apple has to sign it, and Apple only signs the newest version.
Secondly, you can't update on Windows XP anymore, because Windows XP's SSL library is so old it doesn't support a single modern, secure cypher that Apple's signing servers now insist on.
Thirdly, if you've ever used TinyUmbrella, it may have fucked with your hosts file to prevent iTunes talking to Apple.
