I tend to set 300p as a hard limit, if I can't get it within that then I generally give up and look at multi-trim or multiple webms.

Interesting fact is even if your Tolerance/CRF settings denote a lower quality, a higher resolution can still look better because there's more wiggle room for the colour depth.

This issue is what destroyed Hollywood. They started making movies (and shows now) that was dumbed down so the entire would could understand it. Anything specific to American culture, attitudes, and humor was diluted until everyone could follow everything. Really a sad state of affairs.

I'm not sure you understand the point here. You have a perfect infiltration troop, not hampered in anyway with terrain and able to precisely hit specific targets. So it's more accurate than period planes, especially bombers, capable of destruction almost as good as one and can easily defend itself from standard weaponry. In short - you've got a weapon that renders trenches useless.

To put that into perspective - its' like giving assault helicopters to WW1 setting. It instantly renders it a moot point.

Then apply to those ability to fly and transport explosives capable of obliterating artillery positions at range.

In short - you gain troops capable of breaking, infiltrating and completely messing up enemy lines. Follow that with normal infantry attack and bam - you break the lines for good, as enemy is busy dealing with your infiltrators, who completely disrupt the defense.

Which is more or less how WW1 ended IRL - massed tank infiltration, where you could knock down half of them, but the other half still reached your position, covering entire infantry companies, allowing to break the lines. Replacing unreliable tanks with mechanically independent machine AND ability to fucking fly makes it all that easier, because you replace unreliable machine with perfect infiltator.
Seriously, how out of touch are you to ignore completely the fact military suddenly gains ability to deploy soldiers from air, in precise manner, without building any vehicles for that too?

That's why adding magic to historical settings, especially warfare, never works. Because the rules are changed so much the very thing that definied specific conflict no longer applies. WW1 was defined with inability to move troops. And here you have a setting where it's not an issue, but somehow the situation develops the exactly same way. That's just violation of logic.
It doesn't matter if you have 100 mages or 10000. You have ability to conduct attack capable of completely breaking down enemy defense. It's just a matter of planning entire operation on theatre, campaign and battle scale.

Some older stuff on avi or corrupted files can have their audio desync'd or even missing altogether. That's the most common cause of sound issues.

If your subgroup has included a CRC in the filename (usually in square brackets at the end) then chuck the file in a tool like RapidCRCUnicodePortable to verify the file isnt corrupt.
Most players can compensate for corruption by skipping over the missing frames but encoders throw a wobbler at them

With the exception of Magical Loli Hitler most of the mages aren't that powerful, and are floating in the air at relatively low speed with little protection. So most of their magic is focused on them not dying, while they act as spotters for artillery.
Magical Loli Hitler (a 40 year old Japanese Salaryman) is the exception, but even if you have one mage with the ability to essentially drop Fuel Air Bombs at any given location, that's not going to turn the tide of war.
In addition, tactics hasn't caught up to the mage tech yet. Much like in real life with airplanes, the best use of them wasn't readily apparent.
