SCR tends to slow things down. Animations are pretty good speedwise when you're coming looking at it on the actual screen. Time is likewise not hard to read for the most part. I'll admit that the font can be a bit hard to decipher at times though.

If you don't want to use KLWP for now I'd use KWGT. It's like Zooper (widget based) but it has the same syntax used as KLWP which is handy if you choose to use KLWP later on. Also Zooper's not too good with music stuff, I remember having to use music utilities which was hacky.

They went from OP3T to OP5 because "OnePlus 4" sounds like one family's death in Chinese. Wouldn't be feasible for the superstitious Chinese market.

I'll give you a rate in return though:

As the other guy said keep the text centered. It looks weird otherwise. If you don't want to do that then I'd maybe keep the boxes and their corresponding text in a komponent or overlap group. That way when they rotate, they do it together(the text won't be rotating out of the bounds of the box). Also I don't know what it is about your setup vs. the guy you were inspired by, but I feel like the boxes you have need a border around them to not look weird. Also maybe change the font to something a bit thinner.

That's just one anon's "Expert Opinion"™ though. Do what you want man.

First time using nova & klwp

I'm happy with it, although I might change up the info at the top to be a bit more styled. Tempted to add a music controller but I wouldn't end up using it so meh.

Biggest issue is probably my icons, since there's so many on screen at once. I use them all enough to justify it but I may look into organizing them into trays or whatever.

I'm not totally against the spelling out of the numbers but like the other anon said, too much info to process quickly; difficult to read at a glance. Maybe add back the bolds but selectively, like maybe highlight the hour, and the day of the month. Also drop the year and local, it's redundant information and adds clutter. Also that minecraft(?) app icon is messed up, but that's nit picky. If you're going to do that faded letter boxing, I'd suggest maybe readjusting it to frame the text better. Sorry, tested it with the animation tied to the wrong event. The speed bar does affect the speed of the animation, it's just a subtle difference. What might be an additional factor for you to consider, and isfor this is that the speed at which you scroll your background affects the fade too. I'll try to give you an example in a bit.

I think your intent here is nice, but you need to polish the execution. Funny you asked. Once I installed them, I get to attached and I feel really sad considering to uninstall them. I might uninstall them eventually but I'll keep them around as long as I can.
