At first glance, I didn't even notice the icons. I would probably make them essentially inverted, and use iconstructor to make icons that are the same colour blue inside a white circle. Then they would look like the planets and stick out more from the background. Maybe you could even put them over the existing planets. Other than that, might make the text a bit thicker but thats a nitpick.

I like the pape, but not a fan of the strong border all the way around. It is using a ton of space for not that much useful UI. I would make bars at the bottom and top be black with a neon purple border, and put all the other information into triangles with the same palette. The pape has a lot of triangular elements, so while it may be a pain in the ass, to have the triangles fit into each other and have different sizes for different information might be cool.

did some updates, removed the bg image and replaced with a gradient, added a new cloud, some small animations, and a calendar background for legibility.
the new font makes it feel so girly i'm dying lmao. it's hard to find fun handwriting fonts that are also classy and not too heavy

I would make the swipescreens wider or tighten the icons, try out other locations for the icons anyways. Maybe look at using the same icon pack as the dock or something.
The gray background makes it a bit dull, try out some other colours that go well with the wallpaper.
I would also recommend to try out different stroke thickness on the battery indicator.
Other than that I really like the pape. maybe try out a solid colour on the image frame though

I made the background the same color as the wallpaper. The wallpaper is a rectangle I set as a bitmap. I do this so it looks like it's just a continuation of the wallpaper.

I use a lot of apps. Currently I have a screen with 5×5 icon grid, 5-item dock bar, and that's still not enough.

Alright, think this is the end of my little improvements. The animation you see here is based on gyro, moving it through my hand's range of motion, so in normal use it's not very noticeable but highlights the layering. Had to exaggerate a bit so it showed up on the webm.

Sorry, I can see why that wasn't clear. A ui becomes more intuitive (and often prettier) if you can visually separate it into different parts. If you think of your rice as being in layers, your wall is the back and your menu thing sits on top — but because the back to that sliding thing is just blurred and is more or less just like the wallpaper, it hurts that effect of being 'forward' compared to the wallpaper. Now obviously I'm not an expert, but I do like the effect I get when I add a tint over blurred areas. I'll often reduce the saturation, darken it, and use bp() to overlay a transparent color in order to make the whole thing 'flatter.' That way it's more like a frosted glass pane. Here's an example.
