Anyone else here a completionist when it comes to retro games? Where do you draw the line? Max level? Min-maxing stats? 99 of all equipment?
I'd be curious how some of you guys approach games that don't have entirely clear objectives for a "perfect" save file, like RPGs with mutually-exclusive quests or multiple alignment paths. Games like Elder Scrolls, for instance.
When I play the original Warcraft I can't help but strip the entire map of wood and gold before I finish the mission
I need to beat all the secret/super bosses
that's the main thing really
if I have the option of an easy fight or a hard fight I'll always take the hard way every time
Mainly just play and beat the game. I always go for the hardest difficulty setting and absolutely no cheating or shortcuts. And if there are bonuses such as secret things you can unlock, i have to unlock them all.
If I have beaten every boss/level on the hardest difficulty setting I consider it completed.
I only grind score or stats to the point that it unlocks something.
