>When you accidently save over a 20-year old game file
I was never going to use it again but I still want to kill myself.
>tfw the save battery is slowly dying on your cartridges
>Go to access old save file, now its empty
>Can only play some games in a single sitting, because the save function is truly dead
Every once in a while I would go back and delete absolutely all my saves as a form of self harm
>battery on my old Pokemon cartridges died a while back
>I had most Pokemon in Blue and my Pokedex was complete in Crystal
I'm coming, 2D world.
>tfw I don't give a shit about my save files
Sure, losing your level 99 complete save file in a JRPG is annoying, but honestly, who cares? Were you going to go back and play FF4 on that file just to beat Zeromus? Or were you just going to play the game from the beginning.
>People bitches about maxed out pokedexes
Pokemon isn't even hard to get everything, there are people who have done it in literally under 24 hours real time.
OP here, for me it's more because when I played the game as a kid I named all the party members after friends I haven't seen in over a decade.
I wasn't going to use it, but it was a nice memory.
If I'm alive I'm not in the world I dream of.
If I'm dead, I'm not alive.
Must be a step in the right direction.
>Share apartment with brother
>he rarely plays vidya on his own initiative
>I start up Final Fantasy 9; suddenly he wants to play it too
>He fucks up and accidentally saves over my 25 hour file with his 6-hour one
I remember that happening to my Pokemon Yellow. It wasn't just some tens of hours that was lost.
