What were your first games for the Genesis? I had this, Shining

Thunder Force III and Sonic 1

I received my genesis from my cousin when his parents bought him a playstation back in like 97.

Got a decent amount of games, but the stand-out ones to me were sonic 1, gunstar heroes, shinobi 3, and decap attack.

The first Sanic, NBA Jam, Battletech, The Jungle Book, Shinobi 3. Good times.

That game was the first game I ever remember playing in my entire life. I was maybe 3 years old at the time but I remember how punishing it was but damn I was excited when I finally passed the first level. I should really replay it and finish it.

Also remember owning this and Beavis and Butthead on the Genesis. The beginning cut scene with the T-Rex is still etched into my mind 19 years later.

Pretty much everything from Technosoft was outstanding. Especially the music.
