The Inezh Enigma

For the few of you out of the loop:

The identity of "Inezh," portraying actress of Jill Valentine in the first Resident Evil game, remains an unsolved mystery among veteran Resident Evil fans. Officially, she was a high school exchange student with no prior acting experience. Mikami regretted having her on board once production started the shoot at the Tama River. "Inezh" frequently complained about the mosquitos and insisted on wrapping things up ahead of schedule. No one knows where she is now, but I'd be mighty interested to hear her reflect on her experience and, moreover, her side of the story.

Contrary to some rumors, Irish actress Una Kavanagh did not portray Jill, and when asked, she curtly replies, "No" to all inquiries.

"Inezh" was clearly a stage name she used and probably didn't even pick. It certainly wasn't a name used more than once, most likely because she's not an active actor. From what Mikami has said about her experience it's unlikely she did anything else ever again.

On one hand, it is mildly creepy OP (and apparently others) have some bizarre fascination with the woman's identity. It seems "Inezh," whoever she may be, doesn't want to be found and hasn't come forward to discuss her part in Resident Evil.

On the other hand, I can understand why people would be curious, and it needn't be necessarily sexual. She was the first person to play an iconic video game character in a multi-million dollar franchise.
