Does that also include 32-bit IBM PC processors? So 80286 or lower?

IDK why but I quite liked Fatal Run on the 2600, but that's more of a general driving game since the only thing you are racing is the timer to get more points.

Road Rash 3.

I can't play Super Monaco GP. I mean I've never been good at any racing game, but no matter how many times I play Super Monaco GP, I can't finish in anything besides last place. I'm so bad at it it's not even fun because I've only ever experienced one track.

Are you me? I own the game since I was 5 and the only time I saw another track was that time I discovered practice mode.

it's one of the few selected "old racing games" where you have to brake from time to time instead of throttling all the time. Once you get that, your results will get a lot better.

btw forgot to add, I found SMGP 2 way easier than the first, speeds are lower and the car more controllable, so perhaps you should try that

I seriously hope you don't think Super Mario Kart can compare to Power Drift or Out Run or even F-Zero.

The first Mario Kart wasn't even good.

It's the only racing game where I have bothered to learn using manual gears.

Effort is really rewarded in SMGP you feel a real sense of achievement.

After I bought a wheel I've been playing the arcade version almost every fucking day, and when I get curious to replay the Genesis version the game turned out to be easy as fuck, specially in Super Monaco GP mode. Put in your mind your car goes automatically through chicanes and you only need hard brake at hairpins, you can go flatout the whole track. Also, never forget slipstreaming.
