Do so. Make sure to talk to every single NPC and Trainer Tips sign you see, because everything is changed. Also talk to trainers after you beat them too, and try to avoid fast forwarding dialogue for the most part. Also whenever a new piece of music comes up try to listen to it for a good minute or two, because some of the tracks have the best part after a little bit. Then you can fastforward it.
Playing it blind for the first time is heavily advised, but if you get stuck refer to the FAQ pastebin in the OP. If you have anything you really need to look up about a mon, such as typing base stats abilities learnsets etc., refer to the Google Doc (for mon info) link in the OP. It's not any harder than the original puzzle. There's only so many teleporters. At some point you remember which one leads nowhere important and try the other ones.
