So to everyone who has already got one, how hard are legendaries and what's the percentage catch rate?

Just got back from two Articuno raids.

Everyone met at one, then immediately all migrated to another. There were at least 30 people there, we had to do two groups and I still almost didn't get in the next one.

Then I spent 6 golden razz on 6 great curveballs and still didn't catch it. It was CP 1600-something. Not sure I'm really that interested honestly, if it's going to be nigh-impossible to catch. A lot of the people at these raids failed to catch it too.

Also I found out the vast majority of players are women my age and economic bracket, so... seems like a good conversation starter.

This far, the increased speed of mon and resources from both moving faster and operating in big city areas where stops aren't miles apart, as well as not having to deal with Internet, battery, and Kentucky 100+ degree heat has certainly made things better.
I don't meet many people this way, but a meager price to pay.

As someone who has been rooting Android since the beginning the issue is not rooting itself, nor is it using Magisk. It's the fact that Niantic thought this was a good idea to eliminate cheaters by using an API that was originally designed for apps that handled credit card/banking information. It's like using a nuke to take out a couple of insects. The end result being that it pissed off more legit users than it did the spoofers, which unsurprisingly like cockroaches after the nuke dropped came right back out to start again.

Everything that Niantic has tried to do to stop cheating has hurt the players more than the cheaters. If they had any fucking sense of logic they would have tied accounts to phone numbers to prevent multiple bot accounts. Faking a cellphone number is not remotely as easy as faking an email account.
