It isn't automatically null and void just because WE can't challenge the Orange League in the game. Our experiences don't matter. Ash's do.

After all, the game leagues aren't even the same as the anime leagues in the first place, so we've also never won a league like Ash's. The Pokemon League in the animeverse is more akin to a big official game tournament with top competitive trainers in our world. In other words, significantly harder than just "go through dark cave, beat the weak Elite 4 and Champion on the other side.

I am an Advenceshipper and even I don't want Ash and May kissing and start dating as 10 year old kids.
Instate, I prefer the anime focus on exploring their friendship and make them have more deeper friendship, emotional bond and understanding of each other.
Which cause both of them to develop minor crush that gets stronger and stronger in every episode.
However, nether of them can realize their feeling so they become confuse.

So apparently Yajima was only 28 years old when he started work on XY in 2013. Does that explain why XY was so action driven and filled with romance? He obviously grew up with the earlier seasons of the anime as a kid and as a 28 year old wanted to see it mature. I think he was the youngest recent director. I know Tomioka is in his 40's now.

Yajima is a weak gutless director who bluntly favor Alain because he is his protagonist.
He never had the gut to watch more then one trainer kicking Alain ass.
He even wrote 10 worthless episode and got rid of Ash-Greninja to make sure it never become a threat to his precious Alain.
Yajima is just a weak chicken that forces his own desire on fans.

Pokemon need a man that has enough gut to make a rematch where Alain and Mega charizard X get their ass kicked by Ash.
A chicken like Yajima can never accomplish that.
