Due to some disagreements and conflicts that might not have been caused entirely by me, I left.
Then the 8 gym demo got released, and I have been trying to stealthily coerce the devs some stuff they overlooked.

Load up the game you want to back up. Reset. Load decrypt9. Go to sysnand options. Go to Misc. Go to gba vc save dump. Pick any name for the save. Dump the save. Reboot. Load up game you're injecting. Reset. Load up decrypt9. Go to the same location when you dumped but instead pick inject. Game should run with save even though it says save file is corrupted.

I can asnwer you that question. Since i ended up making a cia for these reasons. mgba has audio issues and slow downs with the game on both n3ds and o3ds and gpsp libreto is even worst with massive lags and audio glitches and random crashes after "proper" tweaking.
So in short, VC inject was the best option. And the "save corruption" pop-up happens with a few romhacks and vanillas for the way it needs to be patched for it to work on VC and make saves work. Is a minor annoyances but pretty much doesn't affect anything.

This might just be anecdotal or conjecture but I feel like Synchronizing natures doesn't work with stationary Pokemon in the most recent update.

It works like you expect it to with random encounters but I'm not seeing a very convincing pattern when resetting for Legendaries to get decent natures on them.

For instance, I've battled and caught Demiwaifu a total of four times, and none of their natures were Timid even though I was leading off with Fishnism. Similarly, Scytill wasn't cooperating either and I just stuck with a nature that I though would be okay (Naughty as opposed to my Adamant lead). I think I just got plain lucky with Notridley but it still took me about 5 tries.

Can anyone else confirm my autism? I might just be super unlucky but it seems to work as intended with random encounters like I said.

Uh so I got a masdawg named scooby from shaggy on wondertrade and it was holding weed. This reference doesn't really make sense, it would've been way more fitting if scooby was holding leftovers as a stand-in for scooby snacks, or even better a custom item just for that wondertrade called scooby snacks that doubles all of masdawgs stats (except hp of course). This would be a callback to how scooby snacks make scooby courageous and ready to face anything.

Here's the problem, though. If a pokemon was shit back then, there would be strawpolls and such to decide that. Assuming that they weren't rigged, there would then be another vote as to what should replace said pokemon. Now, all the voting is done in a secluded Discord server, where devs are free from their rightfully deserved backlash, thus allowing them to do absolutely anything they fucking want. That means they are allowed to change the dex and laugh at others for not liking their shitty suggestions. Hell, how else did Gynuke get in? Nobody voiced their opinion on Yangfin and the other split, so why did it suddenly get removed and replaced with Gynuke and that nostalgia pandering raindrop while Pokemon Clover threads were off of /vp/ during winter? The answer is obvious: it was a dev-exclusive decision to do so. They don't give a shit about your opinion, and they never will.

And that fight isn't really meant to be a hard battle (like rival just before).
Just a little suprise before the League.
Think of it more like Blue in Cerulean City. You might get fucked up hard if you don't expect and aren't healed, but it's a piece of cake afterwards.
