The drop rate is pretty low. Besides, there's nothing to say you're ever guaranteed one, it's possible that anon is at the very bottom of the distribution curve and will be spinning for eternity without ever getting an evo item.

Don't hate us valor lads. Hate the lopsided, unfair game that has arisen from letting players pick their team. Not only did most people pick mystic at the beginning because it's blue and in the middle, it's been mystic players that have been encouraged to continue playing the game because of their team's overwhelming success. Instinct has pretty much dropped out where I am. Valor completes for 3 or 4 gyms - which only hold for an hour - whilst ignoring the level 10 mystic gyms that are pointless in taking down.

Did I actually do good or did manage to fuck up somehow? All the Abra I found and captured put all the Kadabra to shame because they were all weak as shit. I maxed out the highest cp Abra I had and couldn't max it out a bunker even after I evolved it to Kadabra and Alakazam. All the wild Kadara were literally 100cp and way less than 100cp, I remember one I caught was at 47cp.

I was feeling bored so I popped an incense while sitting in my room; I live in a fairly rural area where pokemon nearly never spawn near my house. Over the 30 minutes 6 pokemon showed up and all of them being incredibly common ones, and this got me thinking....What even is the point of the incense? They attract pokemon to you but from what I've seen/read it seems to mainly bring common ones, and not that many even. Is there an optimal way to use them, i.e. while walking in an area with lots of stops, staying in one place near a stop, with gps off?

When gen 2 hit I was blessed with about seven 10k eggs in a few days which hatched to sorta disappointing results(3 Pineco, 2 Lapras, 1 Chansey, 1 Mantine). Since then I've gotten probably forty or fifty 5k eggs in a row with 2k eggs interspersed. Its been like 2 weeks and $30 of incubators. I eventually get tired of seeing a screen of 5k and think 10$ in incubators will shake things up only to be disappointed with more yellow eggs. I play anywhere from 2-5 hours a day. I know it's RNG, but the game feels like a gambling machine and it's frustrating. All I want is a stupid Aerodactyl to finish my gen 1. Until something changes I'm not going to keep throwing money away. Also Mantine, Skarmory, Gligar, and Sudowudo need to get booted from the 10k pool or murdered, they're literally everywhere where I live.

Gleam makes the attacker dodge quite often, and they'll have to be careful if they're running Dragonite (which is probably Blissey's biggest counter, or at least one of them just because of the raw attack it has)

Has anyone tried Alakazam against Blissey? It's supposed to have the highest CP in the game, I'm curious to how it would fare.

My stepson's Google e-mail account he used to sign up with PokémonGo has been deleted due to inactivity, assuming it's because he created an e-mail address just for PoGo and then never logged in/checked the mail.

Therefore he cannot sign into his PoGo account to play; he receives a "unable to access account" error whenever he tries to login.

Terrible timing made this happen days before gen 2 was released sooo obviously he was upset--especially since the both of us have been playing together since launch day.

He's reached out to both Google and Niantic and neither have given him helpful solutions. He can see that his account is still unique (no one has taken his tag), but can't access it.

Has anyone else encountered this problem or know how to fix it? Or should we just deal and buy an iTunes Gift Card to power level him back to where he was?

As all of you probably know, spoofers a huge problem in this game. Niantic is banning some of them but realistically banning all of them is hard and if they are not actually spoofing, it means a real player just got banned for no reason. So, what I think they should do is make another serve only for people that spoof to take out the risk of accidentally banning a good player. They shouldn't even be told that they are moved because then they will just make another account and start spoofing on that account. If someone is found to be falsely accused of spoofing they could just put them back on the main server. This was implemented in Titanfall and it was very effective at getting rid of cheaters. (I know it is more complicated than this but just an idea)

I'm primarily concerned with how these kind of people make the game worse in some way for me (more speed countermeasures, poke stop removal), but a shady motivation to do the right thing is better than no motivation to do the right thing.

I've always thought that adding new Pokémon would be pretty easy for Niantic on a software level, they all act the same, and probably have the same code, just different sprites and stats. I have no doubt that if Niantic really wanted to, they could pump out a new gen of Pokémon in like a month.
