I try and capture the left. Just because if I ever decide to try and close in with who ever is blocking, there's less chance of getting my figure surrounded from that side. If the opponent has a figure on his goal, then the spot left of their goal needs to get surrounded by 2 more figures, the right side can get surrounded by only 1 more figure coming off the bench.

Yea its kinda situational thing but I'm just a bit conscious of these possibilities and prefer to have that slight edge of not getting surround as easily.

Goomy's really good though (in my opinion, anyway). I usually rush with Deoxys-S then use pokemon switch to swap him with goomy.
85% of the time you'll land on a purple that will either poison or swap places, which is useful for cheesing victories overall. His ability is really good for disrupting your opponent's momentum too. His only real downside is having 1MP. It might even be the most useful common figure if you're not taking evolutions into consideration

Holy shit, it all make sense now!, i was wondering how i got the gold trophy for the flying cup, since i barely played enough matches as to get the bronce one, then i remember that time that they enable the gym for like 5 minutes by accident about 2 weeks before the official opening, i clicked on it and played a gym match just before they took it out, and after winning i got that mask.
Since it was open for less than 10 minutes there was probably about 200 people in the gym ranking thus giving everyone who played a golden trophy and the mask, shit i'm lucky.

I like this but I feel like Meganium is just TOO good for some reason and I can't figure out why. On one hand, I think it's necessary to get a hard hitting grass EX figure since all we have now is Venusaur but on the other hand I think Toxic might be a little OP, especially since it's two stars instead of one. I think 3 star Light Screen or Reflect would better suit it (based on it being defensive in the games) and not be too broken.

I like this a lot. Reaction Time is definitely interesting, especially against Deoxys A. If it rolls Dimension Slip, it will try to get you to roll Dodge/Miss/Switcheroo to avoid getting sent back to the bench. But if you have the option to reroll to False Swipe after Deoxys forces you to reroll, and it would get sent back. False Swipe would also be a good Deoxys D/Wobuffet counter, or maybe even a way to tie with Magikarp occasionally so it doesn't evolve.

I think Slash might be a little too high. Most 3MP Pokemon are really weak. Maybe knocking Slash to 60 or 50 would be okay.

Evolved Fylgon can negate the Bird's ability while on the field and can potentially snipe them off the board with Draco meteor

Problem is Virbrava runs on purple chunks and and the larger of his whites does crap damage, and it kinda crumples to Gold attacks (assuming it doesn't land on dragon claw)

so the devs seem to think instead of nerfing anything the correct answer is to introduce a direct counter via EX buffs.

But I think I found a way to tank someone's rating by requesting matches for a given userid. All matches will automatically result in a loss for that person since that person isn't actually playing. It's not useful since there's no way to actually get a specific person's id unless they give it to you. I hate these jelly babies. This guy probably spent 4 of his 5 minutes just attacking my goalie while I kept cycling figures from the left. Technically you should but Gabite is very good and soon we're (probably) going to have a dragon type gym event that will make Hydreigon useful, so it will help you a lot in winning matches in that event.
And that's good because winning there gives a truckload of boxes, which should be harder even if you get a good EX from the first pull.

the gabites are good, you'll probably use all of that during dragon gym

evolving stuff practically depends on the lower stages, the benefits are good but the risk is usually high, still, there's common targets to evolve your stuff, like shuppet, ghastly, Mew and Deoxy-S (if they use it as scout)

Yeah if I wanted to not have as strong of an opening pressure. Goal Block is all about allowing higher risk strategies and enabling turn advantage vs the turns it'd take to create a defense.
