Yes, you have to go down 100 points under the point to rank up I think? That's how it was for me when I lost my gold. Like if you rank up at 2100, youll be fine at 2050 and so on. It's coins disguised as an item.
Depending on rarity, it sells to shop for 1800, 3500, 15000 or 35000 coins.

There's also Rare Metal you might have already seen. They give 500, 1000, 4500 or 10500 EXP depending on the rarity.

The last type, Cube, gives 1 point to CLvl (which is usually raised by fusing the same of one figure), but can be used only on a figure of the same rarity. CLvl goes up to 10 and each level gives you Ability to give +1 damage to a white or gold attack. You need 30, 9, 3 or 1 point(s) depending on the figure's rarity to get CLv up by one.

Granted, I spent gems on one round that I lost due to a zapdos, but I just made it to 11 wins purely using the AI. The last match was really touch and go, it kept making risky decisions that somehow paid off in the end. It really can work wonders despite not being flawless.

I had a dream about this game last night. Instead of the Flying gym, it was the Ghost gym and 3MP Pokemon were buffed to 4MP. Shuppet was unstoppable

What's the counter to Shuppet + Lati@s hurdle jump when they go first?

Aside from being forced to use someone like Kirlia, I feel you absolutely have to take risks here. Shuppet will steal your spawn on turn 2, then move the hurdle jumper forward from their spawn. Can't block them because they will just hurdle over you, can't not block them because they will just steal your second spawn and you'll have to fight the luck game vs shuppet.

Same applies to the event with the birds, except far, far worse, and they wouldn't even need to use a plate unless you block it with another bird.

For reference, you can try your luck at gym event, but chances are you going to run into a team that has at least two of the legendary birbs.

If you don't know what you're doing, they will fuck you over. They were pretty good on their own, the event makes them even better by raising them from 2 to 3MP (and articuno gets +20 to attacks being an ice-type as well).

For reference, I have like 45 wins but I had maybe like 3 streaks that went beyond four wins.

Anyways, anyone else giving hawlucha a try? At first I thought he was complete shit the way his wheel is set up. But I didnt realize that he doesn't get ko'd if he loses a battle while using his ability. He battled a rayquaza over the zapdos and lost twice but nothing happened, then finally I got a tackle and he got a miss and it ko'd rayquaza. Got a forfeit win. He's a little gimmicky but he's been a fave pokemon since he first came out and now I'm glad that he isn't totally useless in this game.

it really pisses me off that
1. sometimes they'll add figures from an evo line but don't add the entire line (ghastly and haunter are in this game but not gengar wtf)
2. the poses and effects fucking suck and are basic as shit compared to the ACTUAL POKEMON TFG
3. literally no way to chat after or during a battle/no friends list/no usernames hereby making the game feel shallower than what it really is and making me not want to spend money (like what happens if i lose my phone, boom everything is gone because all i know is my nickname is "dicks")
4. the game needs to be balanced better, ex's are wayyyyy to ridiculous compared to what they were in the actual tfg game, someone with a team of rares should still somewhat be able to even remotely stand a 5% chance against a team of ex's.
5. why is there no art for the trainer/battle cards. all they had to do was copy the tfg/tcg card art

seriously feels like an amazing game that was half assed in the development studio. this could literally be the newest biggest thing but so much of it feels like they cut corners.
